Super unhelpful and behind on the times. So many fees, it’s insane. It’s never easy to get things done here. The ATM literally never works at any of the locations. How is that okay? Not to mention, one of the tellers never added the cash I was depositing to my child’s savings account. Luckily, I checked the receipt before I left and realized only the checks were deposited. Imagine if I didn’t. Overall would never recommend doing business here.

My daughter applied for membership and was denied. There is no expiation for the denial, except calls into Headquarters stating the “system” kicked the application out, no explanation is needed. I’ve been an Affinity FCU member before it was known by this name. I don’t understand the unconcern. I do know as soon as my HELOC balance is paid off, I’ll be taking my coins and going elsewhere. So embarrassed because I encouraged her to join.

This place is a scam. Their rates are high, they have a bunch of hidden fees, and doing the simplest thing here, which would be very simple anywhere else, is very difficult, including linking your debit account and making payments.Also, their people are unprofessional. When they bring you in for a loan, they're nice but afterward, they're kinda weird.This is not a good place.

I had a series of issues with my account over the past few days, and was met with pure kindness. PRAB KAUR WAS A GODSEND!!! I do have moments with this bank sometimes with certain employees that don't know how to do certain things, but we've been in a pandemic for over a year, people need to get over themselves... The fact that I had my full issue resolved in less than 24 hours, and was given follow up instructions, a card, and a smiling face after this hard 18 months shows that this person cares about their career, their customer service, and, overall, their relationships with the customers who regularly come into the branch. If you call, ASK FOR PRAB KAUR, I guarantee you will receive wonderful customer service, with a genuine willingness to assist her clientele. THANK YOU AGAIN PRAB!!!

Would steer clear away from the New Providence branch. The branch manager is clueless on how to do her job. She thinks everyone at her level in the company is doing everything wrong and just by chance she's the only one that does things right. She will make up every single excuse possible to cover everything she says. Was an already existing business account holder, when we closed the account and the next week we went in to open an account. We first called asking is there any other paperwork we needed because they already had things on file, they said no. Walking in there and immediately between the person opening the account and this branch manager, they couldnt even read to begin with. She first wanted a document that we first thought we didnt have, it was obviously neither one of them knew how to read. The second line of the documents we had said it was the document she supposidely claimed we didnt have. Even though a state issued document clearly stated it was the document, she refused to take it. It was basically she wanted us to spend $600 to redo our incorporation just because she had no clue in what she was doing. We said we opened 4 accounts in 2 other branches with 4 different managers. All of the sudden, she spits out oh they are all wrong and im right. And called the so called thing an exception. Totally clueless. There was nothing wrong with our docs, kept on saying these are the docs we used to open accounts for years w/ other banks no problem. She goes we're a credit union and we operate different, then we say well 2 accounts are with credit unions, then another excuse. So then 4 bank accounts 3 managers had no problem and all of the sudden your miss know it all....Totally clueless!

AMAZING!!! I've been coming to this branch for years, they are like family to me. Couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my banking needs.. would 10000% recommend becoming a member at affinity

I was very disappointed with this particular branch and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. as a member of another credit union that has an agreement of shared branching with them, I should be allowed to make a deposit with them into my account. however, their machine was having problems with authentication of my cards ( they work well everywhere else) and the tellers would not assist me making a deposit at their teller window. ON top of that they wouldnt even speak on the telephone with a rep from my partner credit union when I called her to try to resolve the issue . Additionally, they didnt even offer to find the address or another shared branch for me that could assist me. I understand if their policy may have changed but there is always a kinder way to try to assist people. One day one of their customers may need help from a partner credit union and they wouldnt like to be treated this way. Finally, if that is the general attitude of the tellers at Affinity New Providence branch with the public, I dont think that many people will do business with them for much loner

Not the greatest service at all. I was treated like I wasn’t even a member by the associate I worked with. Two other associates stepped in (a male and a female) and were really nice. I guess they picked up on the rude teller’s behavior. It didn’t help that their Coin Star machine was down.
