What a nightmare of a place to live. We have been stuck here for three long years and are so happy to leave. From black mold upon move in to gas leaking into our apartment due to the failure of maintenance to light the pilot light on our stove to drug addicts living in the boiler room and peeping in our windows and constant roaches, this place should be ashamed to rent to anyone. Garbage is strewn throughout the community. Parking is impossible. Nobody, including the management cares. Our move in was such a bait and switch we were given a personal apology and a $250 gift card as an apology. Apartments are old and dilapidated. Run far and fast before renting here.

I live here for 30 years I called to see if my apt was on fire because new milford estate apts was on fire Jeff answer he couldn't even check amd told me sir who do u want me to call he's rude he needs to go every time u deal with him it's a issue also mantance here is a very big problem also a issue with then to I pay my rent on time to never late .

Chris in the maintenance department is by far the best! Whenever we have an issue or need a favor, he is quick to respond and help us out. I’m never worried about if something will be handled when it comes to maintenance at Brookchester

I’m sure this will fall on deaf ears but I will say it any way. Your employee Jeff Hoffman is a horrible person. He is rude, condescending, and just a horrible representation your company. He has no empathy at all, and I hate having to even speak to him. I’m sure Im not the first person to complain about him but it’s clear a person like him is just fine for you. He sends me a letter on 5/2024 letting saying I owe $800 from 4/2034 due to his data entry error and gives me one month to pay it. I now have to pay an additional $300 in legal fees and now have to go to court. It’s like he takes pleasure in making things hard for people. It’s just sad and I will pay for him. My family and I are doing the best we can. I pay my rent and any late fees every month and this is what I get for it. Jeff has to go!!!

From our Love Shack to our Home Sweet Home
Almost twenty years ago I moved into my husband’s apartment at Brookchester, which became our Love Shack and then our marital Home Sweet Home. I finally added my name to the lease last month with the help of Iurii Semenov, Asset Living Leasing Consultant for BrookchesterApartments, he made the process stress free, including removing our garages for which we turned in the keys before the new lease was executed without the garage fees. Iurii is professional and it was always a pleasure speaking to him to make sure he had all the necessary paperwork for the new lease, which he expedited in less than a day, and before the June 1st start date of the new lease. Thank you again and again Iurii. And for listening or reading about to our stories of being cancer survivors that never missed a rent payment, even during our toughest times. Jeff Hoffman, the Assistant Lease Manager, thank you again for updating the website and getting all future rent charges in order for future online payments. It was a pleasure working with you on getting it resolved and speaking to you.
My husband has actually lived at Brookchester 24 years and together we have created a home we call our little slice of heaven on earth.
Our beloved Emotional Support doggies, make living at Brookchester all that much sweeter, with a doggie park built for Brookchester residents, giving us the gift of friendships for us and our doggies (knowing all our doggies are current on their vaccines and in good health brings all doggie parents peace of mind). The dog park location set in 2015 was championed by Doreen Ercolano, the then Executive Business Manager for Brookchester Apartments, and many of us who gather daily couldn’t be more grateful.
The maintenance department does a great job in keeping the grounds clean of snow, and properly salted during the winter to protect the tenants from an icy fall. The grass is cut and maintained spring to summer. In the fall the leaves are cleaned up.
Regarding maintenance service, when needed and if urgent, they have been responsive to our needs, which haven’t been many in 24 years, we’re low maintenance tenants. When our wooden floors grossly buckled due to the boiler , the then maintenance department wasn’t as quick to fix the floors and ugly hole, but they eventually did and the floor looked amazing (like nothing ever happened). The maintenance department is a reliable, responsive team of craftsmen.
We really appreciate all that the Brookchester leasing office management/staff and maintenance department do to make our apartments our homes.
Right now all roofs and gutters are being replaced, our buildings are looking great!!!
So yes, we love our lives at Brookchester Apartments…our home sweet home.

We have been living in Brookchester Apartments for two years now and could not be happier in our little community court. Our apartment was clean and newly painted when we moved in.
We have had minor maintenance issues over the years that were quickly resolved thanks to the wonderful maintenance crew.
Thank you Chris P for always being being diligent with our requests, and knowing exactly what to do to make things right.

We used to live out of state and this was the only apartment complex who responded immediately with all the information we needed. Our relatives were able to do in inspection at their model apartment for us. The leasing officer was easy to contact and was also informative on what to do regarding payments. The onboarding instructions were easy to follow and if we have follow up questions, we just call them.
The apartments themselves are well maintained. Not the luxury apartment type but if you need a space that is affordable in this current market, and you want everything to be nearby (shopping centeres, schools, grocery stores, pharmacy, vet) the location is top tier.
Their maintenance department is easy to contact. At one point, I forgot my keys, and the maintenance person was immediately there to let my dog and I in during winter season.
I also had requested for an aircon in the bedroom and they contacted me to schedule when it should be installed. Our aircon in the living room had molds in the vents and it was replaced. Virg was helpful and informative during the installment of the aircons. Also he was in the apartment last year to fix the drainage of our tub.

I lived in Brookchester since 2017 and yes thier were problems but Maintenece always made it easier for me to live there. Especially Alex if I needed anything he was there to assist and the maintenance crew all I can say is thank you.

My wife and I have been living in Brookchester for almost 3 years now and have nothing but good things to say about Alex the manager of the maintenance staff. The maintenance staff has always been responsive to all of our concerns including issues of heat leaks, kitchen faucet replacement and bathroom plumbing Issues including weekend emergencies. Manager Alex is always there to ensure that work is completed to the utmost degree of quality and satisfaction. We are very happy to be renting here.

The maintenance team is amazing! They are very quick to respond to residents. I contacted the team about a problem with my living room air conditioner. After speaking with Janice she sent out team members that day to troubleshoot. They were able to quickly figure out the problem and present me with a suitable solution. They are extremely solutions oriented and committed to resident satifaction. Kudos to Janice, Alex and the entire Brookchester maintenance team!

I live in a different building than Brookchester (same owner). Our new Super, Vidal, is amazing! He is the absolute best! He is courteous, pleasant, and very very hard working and conscientious. I've been a tenant for many years and Vidal provides the best service ever! Thanks Vidal for your superior service!

I’ve been living at Brookchester apartments for about 5 years. I have to say the maintenance crew is fantastic! They are always there when you need them. Chris P has been so helpful! He came in the middle of the night to fix my leaking sink then noticed another issue that needed attention and fixed it as well. He had all the tools on him! (Simple fix like a loose door knob) but still he tightened it without me saying a word! Chris didn’t ignore the issue and was there beyond my needs. The staff in the office, big shout out to Carolyn and Denise. They are two wonderful women who ALWAYS listen to you and help the best they can. Great place to live.
