My partner and I had such a lovely time at Laurita Inn. We weren't sure what to expect as this was our first time at a bed & breakfast. Our host, Denise, did not disappoint! We stayed in room #9 and it was absolutely beautiful. From the vintage feel of the place to the view of the horses from our balcony, we were so pleased. Denise was extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay. We had wanted a cheese board brought to our room pretty last minute while we enjoyed Laurita Winery and she made sure that was waiting for us when we got back. The breakfast was delicious, the common rooms were so cute and the grounds of the Inn were picturesque . They even provided their guests a list of nearby locations to visit. We visited the New Egypt Flea Market where we spent nearly two hours walking around and enjoying. Overall, we had such an amazing time and the service was outstanding. We can not wait to come back!

We had a great time! From being welcomed by Janis and a very welcoming room quiet with a nice balcony and the winery was great as well as dinner at Plumstead Grill. Our favorite by far was feeding the horses Smokey and Guy. Even the fire pits were and added bonus as well as the delicious breakfast. Can’t wait to

On Saturday November 9 2019 we attended the food truck festival. I had made plans to go for a while with my husband and 4 friends. Weather was cold , sun was shining ,all good. We prepaid the tickets in advance and my friend was also in the military. At the gate we were stopped and our bags were searched. No big deal. However the security man at the entrance would not allow me to bring in my husbands snacks and meal. You see he was newly diagnosed as being a Type 1 diabetic. I explained to the man that he needs to eat what I make and it’s important that he sticks to the no sugar low carb diet. He would not listen. I again Iattempted to explain the situation Again he didn’t care stating,”that his wife is a diabetic and that there is plenty to eat for diabetic people at the festival!” My husband quickly ate his lunch and then walked to the car to put his snacks back in the car including his protein drink! Well there was nothing in those trucks that he Could eat that was for a type 1 diabetic. After a few hours I went in to the bar and asked if they had any nuts? The nice girl told me to go to the deli and asked. I didn’t know that there was a deli. I found a women and told her I needed nuts. Explaining to her y I needed them. She said she would check downstairs. After a short while she returned with no nuts. I quickly saw a small cheese, meat platter and an angel named Joanna Was very understanding about the stimulation I was having. Please l ask that you educated your staff on medical issues some of your customers may have. I would have had a better time knowing that my husband was eating the food and snacks that I Prepared for him instead of worrying about him while at the festival

We just stayed at the Inn for our Anniversary and intend to make it our annual Anniversary get away. From start to finish it was a great experience. Janis was the best hostess, room was lovely, breakfast fabulous, area peaceful and serene. Overall would recommend the Inn to everyone. We also love Laurita Winery and are frequent visitors and members of their club.

The room was clean and cozy and the inn was beautiful and quaint. We didn't get a long enough stay to properly rate the experience. Janis was very nice and makes one heck of a GF blueberry cake! Very nice, as a celiac, to have someone go to the trouble of making GF meals for me. Thanks so much!
