This place offers the best trail rides in all of New Jersey!! If you're someone looking for an authentic trail ride that takes you through one of the finest wineries in NJ, look no further. The owner and instructors are extremely friendly, and they have a range of horses suitable for all levels of experience. I've been on many trail rides, but it's rare to find a farm with such excellent horses and a trail that takes you through a winery. My girlfriend and I love this trail so much that I decided it would be the perfect spot to ask my now fiancée to marry me. When I reached out to Handy Acres, the entire team could not have been more helpful and enthusiastic about assisting me. Holly and her team provided everything I needed and were willing to assist with anything. They went above and beyond to ensure our experience was fantastic and ran smoothly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We all had a great experience and so much fun at Handy Acres Farm !!! The farm is well maintained and so beautiful! Our horses were absolutely amazing!! Each had their own unique personality ? We loved every single second! If anyone is looking to book a trail ride, I highly recommend them, located in New Egypt NJ. Thank you Miss Holly and crew!

Holly and her daughter Lauren and Lauren’s best friend were so nice and cooperative! For my birthday I wanted to take my friends horseback riding and i absolutely love horses and their farm is beautiful and so clean! They really care about all of their animals and the land and take such good care of everything and gave us the most beautiful horse back riding experience through a beautiful winery and trail! They even let us take the horses trotting which was really nice of them :) at the end for my birthday, Holly let me trot with Rosie (my horse) as well as another horse around the stable while my friends dismounted. Definitely worth the price for a whole hour and an including beautiful scenery and such fantastic owners, will be back again !Came here with 3 other people and we each paid $65 for an hour on their huge land which included a view of a pond, vineyard, open fields!

I took my daughter out for the day and it was her first time and she absolutely loved it. Our guides were awesome and took us on a trail through the Laurita Winery. Best way to tour the winery for sure. The horses were pretty great too, each had their own personality and very friendly. Will be going back for sure!

Not good at responding back! Tried multiple times to get my granddaughter in for riding lessons and never responded back after spoke to him and he advised to send text for scheduling hours for lessons. Still never heard back after a follow up call to him again… stay away!

Casey was the best trainer and hostess. She helped me overcome my fear. She selected Red and Sugar according to our personalities and it was a perfect match. Can't wait to go again.

Wow! The experience of a lifetime. For some it may be skydiving without a parachute. For me, it was a relaxing hour of horseback riding with my girlfriend -- a first-time experience for the both of us.I actually found out about this private farm and their horseback rides through my girlfriend who knew one of the trainers, Kacie. She took the both of us out on a trail through the Laurita Winery. Kacie was first-rate the entire riding experience which started in helping us mount and get acquainted with our horse and then through the entire ride in giving instruction on how to steer the beautiful animals.Through it all, Kacie took pictures on her iPhone. When the ride was complete, she air-dropped all of them onto my phone. Now we have a few dozen photos of our afternoon.The horseback ride rate was very reasonable at $60 an hour per person. Really, it's well worth the cost if you have never been on the back of a horse before.I can't say enough great things about our ride and having Kacie as a host. We are definitely coming back towards the fall and doing this ride again.
