The customer service is a hit-or-miss. The manager is very helpful and is quick to respond when asked about products and pricing. He knows where everything is located. However, the other retail staff do the bare minimum. There's not much effort on their part when asked any question.

I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Stan at Rite Aid, and I must say, he’s hands down the best pharmacist I’ve encountered. His patience and caring nature stood out immediately. He took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring I fully understood my medications and their effects. Stan’s extensive knowledge, shared with such kindness, put me completely at ease. What impressed me most was the peace of mind he provided, which is invaluable in healthcare. His service was so remarkable that I am definitely planning to visit this location again for my future pharmacy needs.

Really good rite aid. I got to the counter and was super insecure about my forehead. When I asked the cashier if it was big she made me feel really comfortable. She said no it’s perfect. That made me feel really good. Then she proceeded to put in perspective that some people don’t even have foreheads. Now I love my forehead.

Recently relocated and have had nothing but positive experiences with this Rite Aid. The Pharmacist, Danielle, is extremely helpful, thoughtful and professional. Got all my medications transfered. The store is clean, well stocked and has just about everything. Even things I wasn't expecting, like CPAP supplies. I am able to find what I need, the store staff are courteous and professional. That is all I need it to be. And it is local for me...even better.

8 years ago, I worked there and the new manager was rude to us. She screamed to me and used me, until she made a move to kick me out. I never had such an horrible experiences in other brand pharmacy or jobs. I hope she is no longer!

As a Rutgers Student living on campus, this place is a real life saver. It has everything I need and it is only a 10 minute walk from my college dorm. Everytime I was sick in college I would come here for meditation and it was amazing service! Highly Recommend!!

Hi, so my name is Brendon and im a Hispanic Disabled Military Veteran who is currently enrolled in Rutgers on GI Bill as a active member of the LGBTQIA community upon which i am a gay member. In order to fully understand the situation you will need a couple details about me during the time of the Incident at the Rite Aid located at 366 George Street, New Brunswick, NJ, 08901, I had a Cast on my Left leg which was Broken, i had lost my previous Job due to my leg injury 2 months Ago and was doing UberEats on my EScooter to pay for my Rent and Medications for as a war Veteran i am diagnosed with PTSD(Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). The Date of the Incident was February 26, 2023 between hours of 3:00pm to 5:30pm. I had a order at the Rite Aid for three items and one of them a Monsters Rehab Energy Drink was not their so i asked what i soon would discover was a Male Manager. He was rude and Unprofessional, i told him what i was looking for then asked if he would recommend a Monster Flavor similar to Monster Rehab. He acted offended and like he couldn't be bothered and then refused to respond to me and eventually walked away. Please check the cameras for all of this is recorded and for the record whole time i never cussing or raised my voice same could not be said about Staff and Management. So i rang up my 3 items for UberEats and payed on my Visa Card which was in my wallet kind of similar to paying with apple(no physical card just electronic). Then my app said the Monster i had bought is not one of the eligible ones under substitution so haveing not left the store and with my Receipt in hand i went back to the register. A male Employee possibly in High School tried to ring up the return so i can exchange the monsters for different one and tried take my card three times but couldn't figure it out, honestly think he didn't know how to do exchanges and returns so after makeing me wait a half hour, he had a female coworker who also looked like she was in High School but she couldn't figure it out. I told her this is UberEats money and it will come out of my wages from today($30 worth)which i need to buy my Medications that day. She could care less and it made no sense because everyone can do refund it the Law. I asked to speak to the manager and she went to Closet near register and the manager that was the rude gentleman i asked for help earlier said doesn't matter if i pay with visa card or apple pay and have my receipt they wont do refund or exchange. He was rude and offensive and refused to talk to me or explain anything. I asked the worker for the Managers name because im pretty sure they are descriminateing against me because i am Disabled and Gay but the lady did not respond and refused to provide me with the managers name(Not safe/Welcoming space for LGBTQIA community. The manager at a point tried to push me over with broken leg to get 24 pack water extremely dangerous. On my way out of the store with items i cant use and having lost all my money now from Previous 8 orders due to unethical/Immoral/Discriminatory actions of the staff and management i was unable to afford my needed medication and Rite Aid Workers just Laughed and Could Care less both in their actions and words. Before Leaving I saw another Manager who was female and asked if she was a manager and she said yes and i told her what happened and she explained why they can't refund me and that is because whether paying with electronic Visa or Apple Pay they cannot do refund or exchanges even if you have receipt because there system only allows that for physical card which made no logical or legal sense so i thanked her for being the only Professional Adult working there and left. I have never had such a hate filled and abusive experience in my life as i had here, I just hope no one else ever has to go through this and can't afford Medication, shame on Rite Aide Shame for treating Human Beings like this its This-gusting to Hurt others.

I come here regularly for my prescriptions, otc meds, and other supplies. It's close to everything and very easy to shop. The check-out process is quick, the staff members are helpful. The pharmacy sometimes was understaffed, I could see they were tired. But really appreciate the service I have got for the past 2 years.

This is really poor Rite Aid. I once placed an order online for pickup. Once I received a message that my order was ready for pickup, I went to the store. My order was not ready. I asked for a manager. He told me that there were some issues with online orders. (No kidding?) The cashier tried to locate my order. She then told me she'd get the items for my order quickly. I saw her really trying to get the items together. However, I saw that the items in her arms were not the items I'd ordered. I still don't know if she was looking at someone else's order or not. What did the "manager" do at this point. Well, he just walked away. Didn't say a word to me. Just walked off and didn't come back. I told the casher (who at least tried) to just forget it all and that I wanted the order canceled. Done. Also, there's a pharmacist there who I find annoying. She asked me if I got the flu shot. I told her yes (even though I wasn't there to speak with her about any flu shot; but I figured this was part of her job--to ask). Then she asked me which flu shot I got and when I got it and.... Annoying. Just like she was on the phone, cutting me off when I spoke. My usual Rite Aid s in NYC, and I'm used to quicker, more savvy service. Not at this New Brunswick, NJ Rite Aid.Some of the cashiers are good. Some really need customer service experience. And some common sense. And that manager that just walked off? You really gotta be kidding.
