Started patronizing Roshira Beauty Salon approximately 6 months ago and it is my permanent go to place. Roshira and her staff are very knowledgeable and attentive to your personal hair care, not only does your hair come out looking spectacular, but she also gives you counsel on ways to improve the quality of your hair and not to mention, the price is fairly reasonable. Whenever someone asks where can they go to have their hair done, I recommend Roshira Beauty Salon. Great place give it a try.

If i could give this place 0 starts I would. They are anti-black and straight up racist. I went from 23 to old lady. From the time i sat in the chair, the darker skinned HAIR WASHER made anti-back comments about my hair. I lied and told her i didn't understand Spanish. First comment after the blow dry. "Why would you want this hair". Then when she didn't get it completely straight without even trying she called my hair "nappy". I am half black and Puerto Rican and have 3 b dense fine hair... the texture was not an excuse for her lack of skill. And what if it was? I have a dark skin daughter with tighter coils and would never let those things leave my mouth. This was a self hating woman who saw the smile on my face, and, confidence i had in my blackness and love for my hair, that she went out of her wait to ruin it. When i sat in the chair, she was looking at me frowning as I told her that her skin was worth more then gold. when i got up with tears in my eyes she laughed and said i told you so... as if what i was asking for wasn't doable due to my hair texture.. To top it off the owner came in and invalidated everything that happened saying "she doesn't speak English" "she doesn't know, she wouldn't say that, she has hair like you" as an excuse. Ummmm but i heard her. She understood everything i said and if she doesn't know the history of the offensive words in her language, she need to learn them before working with people who have my hair. In the midst of my tears, The owner then went on to accuse me of never planning on paying at all and tried to call THE POLICE.....racist af. They saw a confident black women and did what self hating Dominicans do best, tried to humble me. The screenshot is what i asked for and was told was doable.

Spectacular and Authentic Dominican Hair Salon! Had a long day at work and needed some pampering so I did a search, called Roshira's and they told me to come right in. It was a Tuesday evening so I was looking forward to avoiding the weekend rush. I was greeted by the staff member Frankeyla and she was very pleasant and welcoming. It was as if they knew what I needed. She immediately walked me to the back and gave me a thorough hair wash, truly an art form. She then walked me over to Roshira where she put my full head of hair in rollers within minutes and in the dryer I went for about 30 minutes. Roshira was super sweet and very knowledgeable about hair. She made me feel comfortable and we couldn't stop chatting like old friends. Roshira continued her magic with my hair and was very careful with heat and meticulous with her styling. She truly has a gift for hair and I will certainly be returning to her soon!! Oh and by the way I LOVE MY HAIR!!

I just moved to somerset and was looking for a salon. When I googled... I saw a nice place called la Bella but then I went for my appointment and it was not what I was expecting. Different name and I was horrified. I decided to just do it. I asked for a cut. So they washed my hair and then said I was done. All confused... I decided whatever I'm out. They all spoke Spanish an no English so I think that's where it went wrong. Didn't like the look of the salon. Old style head dryers. Looked like they were selling food in there for extra money too. Sry this was not my cup of tea and will not go again. But they were very nice but didn't even try to speak English with me to ask how I'm doing.

I have called this place twice about services offered. They couldn't tell me what they offered, said they would call back. The first time they did but said I had to call the beautician directly not only did she not have availability she was sketchy when she answered. The second time never got a call back.
