What a "Gem" of a bookstore. I was looking for a family owned and operated bookstore and what I found was a Treasure, right here in New Brunswick, NJ.Kaila was the most helpful and wonderful owner. She found exactly what I wanted (50 copies of a certain book) and she got them for me in a quick order. Then when I received them, each book had a personal "Enjoy this book" card and a bow. Fantastic! Some of my people when I gave them the book were so surprised and so pleased it made the book even more special. Kaila added that very personal touch that can't be found in the big, national bookstores.

This is an incredible spot! It is a used book nonprofit/shop inside an art gallery. They accept donations, as well as provide some gems. When I went, I found the most amazing leather-bound books, from Plato to Charles Dickens, a rare copy of a Stephen King book, and so much more. They sell hard covers for only $10.Please give this place just an hour out of you busy day. It's so welcoming and worth the visit. I couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the day.Or if you're looking for a local place to give books to, this is it! It's really incredible and ran by the nicest family. Whatever you're looking for second hand, their amazing staff will find it for you if you ask.Truly a fantastic place for collectors, book lovers, students, and anyone who just wants to read a bit more.

Hello I have yet to visit your bookstore and I'm about to an 11 minutes. Currently I'm on a quest to you find some literary graphic novels and the current comic book store Main Street Comics that I'm at is closed so I called you unfortunately nobody picked up and I left a little message about to actually be a literary Emporium with him gems you should at least make sure that you have Scott mccloud's understanding comics so here's what's going to happen I'm going to McDonald's just kidding actually I am going to come to your establishment and if there are no Comics there I'm going to take off one star but if you call me back and listen to the voice message that I sent you then I will keep this five star rating. HuzzahPs : im going to mcdonalds.

The number one family owned bookstore in the country! I flew into the city only to visit this bookstore and it was worth every minute! Thank you Kala for all that you do and for being who you are!

I sent an email to share how much of an inspiration they were to me and to share that I have a love for literature as well and they wrote back a lovely message.very kind people with a beautiful goal that they're accomplishing. Well done and if I ever get to visit new jersey I'll definitely be stopping in or ordering from online :)

Definitely a hidden gem! Great bookstore with a great selection of books. The owners, Kaila and Ray are extremely helpful and dedicated to the empowerment of the community through literature. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
