I got my first deep tissue massage from Bharati Carla and felt extremely relaxed and well rested throughout and after the session. Bharati Carla was thorough and great with releasing the tension in the neglected areas of the body and would definitely recommend her .

We started family sessions at Garden of Healing after loosing my son by suicide. I cannot express with words how Carla had helped my family (husband, son and myself) to redefine ourselves and what living means to us. I am very grateful, and always will be, for everything we had learned and continue learning each session. The place is amazing, Carla is my angel on earth, and fully recommend Garden of Healing yoga for everyone.

This was my first experience with Garden of Wellness and healing. This was an amazing experience that helped me tremendously on my wellness journey . I felt like time stood still allowing me to breathe and enjoy the moment . I realized that I needed more … the yoga was a huge benefit and I felt more aware less joint pain . It was immediate! The sound bath was awesome I literally felt that light clarity peace and purpose . The facial massage was so beneficial. The most important thing is is that I felt unhurried that Bharti Carla applied a wealth of knowledge of wellness and healing to the experience. It was great!

I am beyond blessed and grateful to have been able to take three courses here. Moreover, I am thrilled to have been able to take them consecutively at such a fraught transitional period of my life.I have taken so many wonderful classes here in the past few months! Back in February I did the Beginner's Yoga Series with Bharati Carla, and she helped me make some really important adjustments that I hadn't learned in several years of at-home practice. (My lower back and knees are very grateful!) We even learned headstand basics! It was wonderful.Well, I got to the end of the Series, and wanted to continue classes with Carla! She mentioned that she was starting her Sound + Breath Healing course, and I was very interested in it both because I had just quit nicotine and because I want to have a little more music in my life these days (y'know?). I found a supportive, expressive environment in class each week! Carla really has a knack for building an open and welcoming environment. Over this course, my home life deteriorated, but I STILL didn't have anything with nicotine -- I feel that throwing myself into this *truly* phenomenal course helped me deal with that stress. Maybe not perfectly, but definitely without falling back into that particular addiction.I got to the end of THAT course, and Carla had been mentioning another course called Yogic Sciences for Mental Health. I am extremely interested, of course, having struggled with Depression and anxiety for two decades, and ADHD all my life. I literally do not mind sharing this lol. My main focus was the addictive tendencies I had developed as coping mechanisms. Here's the thing you need to know about yogic sciences: you build skills that are tools for surviving and thriving through difficult moments. Healing is an ongoing process, and sometimes you have to revisit deep trauma and "go through it to get through it," (as Carla relayed to me from one of her daughters). I learned quite a few valuable skills in this extraordinary course, and all of them have helped me break patterns of thought and behavior that have been keeping me stuck in the past.Thank you so very much, Bharati Carla! I truly appreciate all you have done for me (even accommodating mine and so many peoples' schedules!), and I am so grateful that you are continuing such beautiful and important work. You are an inspiration!Much love from ME,Jo

Carla and her team at Garden of Healing yoga and wellness do a great job with a varied selection and adaptable schedule of yoga classes. The Center also offers, Massage, Reiki, Sound Healing, Meditation and Drum Circle. There are hand made oil blends, incense, jewelry and clothing among other interesting, spiritual articles moderately priced. The vibe at the center and around her team is wonderful. Carla is also very involved with the community and frequently offers free and community-based activities.

Great small studio in New Brunswick with lot of heart and variety of classes in different formats (during COVID: online, outdoor, in person (limited #)-check website for latest). I love the diversity in teachers and students - great community. Owned by the inspiring Carla who is not passionate about yoga and different healing modalities, but also compassionate and actively involved with local community. Come check out the Garden and support this black female-owned small business!

Carla of Garden of Healing is amazing! I'd known about this business for a long time, but never went to check it out for myself. My first Kundalini class kind of blew away. I also appreciate the events they hold & community outreach they've done. I'm looking forward to more heart, mind & body-opening experiences with Garden of Healing :)
