Even with Amazon I always like to visit Barnes & Noble and peruse books. The feel and smell/aroma of books is unbeatable. There is a coffee shop inside if you need a caffeine shot. You can also find a lot of Rutgers University swag. This is the place to go to for textbooks and stuff also.

They may as well shut down the cafe. They have none of the food or drinks that the other locations have. If you come here to read or study bring your own.

Good store but doesn't have the same kids section as other B&N stores.

This is a great bookstore at Rutgers University. As all the university gear, including sportswear, sweatshirts, and all the Rutgers swag. In addition, the bookstore is full of current books and a nice Starbucks. There are wheelchair-accessible restrooms and on-street parking. This store is located only feet away from the New Jersey Transit train station. It is a great place to take out many current titles, magazines and they also have an extensive collection of books for children.

Overpriced books and the starbucks staff is more interested in being on their phones than taking orders - thats not even mentioning how many times they get the order wrong but that's par for the course at this point.

The store is wonderful. The loss of two stars was because the cashier literally threw scanned merchandise into a bag. Apparel was not folded but worse, was that the ceramic coffee mug was dropped in the same way...even with the bag sitting on the counter.Rutgers apparel choices have significantly improved since my last trip here 5 years ago. There are more tan, pink, mauve and other random colors to be found in addition to the traditional red and black. The logos on the shirts and mugs are also of a great variety. Most importantly, the sizes offered are from xs to xxl in most styles.Rutgers apparel and merchandise take up the front half of the first floor. The cafe is the back half of the first floor. Clearance merchandise and children's is downstairs. Upstairs, via escalator or elevator, is where the books are located.

November 2022 by just wondering how long my name could be on here.
Staff is always nice, great choices at the cafe and everything is nicely organized. Great place to study and do homework.
