“I have nothing but great things to say about this vet office. I am a crazy cat mom and I am a very anxious person when it comes to my animals. I found out on Sunday that my cat Scout would need a cystotomy surgery for a bladder stone. I called city by the sea on Monday (they were recommended to me by a ton of people on Facebook) and they got me in the same night for appointment. Dr. Santos-Melody spent so much time with me, doing an extensive evaluation on Scout, went over his blood work, his surgery, and answered any and all questions I had. She was incredible. We originally scheduled the surgery for the 18th but I called and expressed how stressed I was about the position he was in and they moved his surgery up for me. This has been such a crazy few days and I cannot express how easy they have made this process. Their staff, pricing, availability and all around business is just amazing. I seriously could not recommend them enough. Thank you to Karen, Dr. Santos-Melody and to the owner Dr. Tom for working with me and doing all you can do for my baby boy. I so so so so appreciate it !!”
“Most wonderful vet and staff for your pups. We had to put our dog down after he suffered from old age and the staff and vet were very compassionate. They lit a candle at the front desk signaling a family was saying goodbye to their pets and sent us a beautiful card after. Would highly recommended them!”

“We’ve been taking our dogs to LSAH for years now, ever since my first dog Rosie was a puppy 14 years ago, and Rosie is still going strong. We’ve always had good experiences with LS, but especially loved Dr Y, and now we see Dr Regan, Dr Stacy, and Dr Scott and they are all amazing. We recently saw Dr Haupt and she was great too.
I’m only clicking the “overpriced” button despite being happy with their vet services bc all vets are overpriced these days and the prices for a regular exam HAVE gone up at LS considerably. That said, I believe in most cases, you get what you pay for, and I feel that my dogs have gotten excellent care from LSAH.”

“Our experience with Dr. Toll
We want to share our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Toll for her compassionate and professional care she gave to our beloved cat, Big Bear, in his final moments. Big Bear was 16 years old and had been with us since her was young. He was diagnosed with kidney failure and we knew her was suffering. We decided to euthanize him to end his pain and give him a peaceful goodbye.
Dr. Toll was very understanding and supportive of our decision. She explained the procedure to us and answered all our questions. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to Big Bear. She was gentle and respectful with Big Bear, and administered the injection with skill and care. Big Bear passed away peacefully in our arms, surrounded by love.
We are very grateful to Dr. Toll for making this difficult experience as easy and dignified as possible. She is a true professional and a kind person. We highly recommend Dr. Toll to anyone who is looking for a vet who cares about animals and their owners.”
“I have now adopted from MCSPCA twice, and both experiences were truly wonderful. The staff clearly know and care about each and every animal in the shelter, and the adoption counselors happily take the time necessary to review everything with you. Nina Lucow was amazing in helping me select the best second cat for me, based on my resident cat’s personality. We have never had a dog who likes going to the vet, but Blue our Dogo Argentino sees the building and gets so happy to go in! They always make the exams as quick and painless as possible, and do exams without holding him down. They get on the floor with them and make it a game. “We brought Rudy, our 18 year old mixed terrier to LB Animal Hospital yesterday for Euthanasia. It was very hard but the right decision. Everyone there was kind and caring and it went as well as possible . I am still crying but want to say that Dr Caroline Pawlowski and staff were wonderful.I know this isn’t the most important thing but the price was fair. “Absolutely love this office! Started bringing both my dogs here in May 2022 after moving back to NJ from college. Dr.Scott is a wonderful man who always goes above and beyond in caring for your pet, as well as provides digestible information to help you make informed decisions about your pets health. This morning, my dog was not acting right and little silver was my first call. They got us in within the hour to see Dr.Izzo, another wonderful vet at this office. He did a very thorough exam of my dog and explained to me every step of the way. It was a wonderful experience and gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such great hands. The tech, I believe her name was Katie?, also took the time to make sure she entered the ordered tests as cheaply as possible (while they were very busy), which I really appreciated. She was also so wonderful during intake and the exam. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a vet that allows you to be present during an exam, provides you with all the information you need to keep your pet happy and healthy, as well as staffed with individuals who truly care about your pet...they're the best!!!”

He's also been great about squeezing us into his schedule when he can when I'm worried about something, and with 3 of my 4 woofs being older, that's happening more often. “Dr. Manziano is a fabulous doctor and also the kindest. We were in her office a few weeks ago to purchase the dog toothpaste. My dog gums had inflammation and her teeth also was covered in tartar. She is rescued dog and I always used regular (best quality) dog tooth paste and obviously it didn’t work. Dr. Manziano’s toothpaste it is a miracle. Inflammation in her back teeth is gone and all her teeth is getting whiter. The tartar is almost gone. Please support this wonderful professional. Thank you so much Dr. Manziano!”
