“Master Jose is the best!! Always comes with energy, passion and give specialized attention to all the students. A lot of other places just want to take your money and use a cookie-cutter format of "one size fits all" which is been proven time and time again to not work. The school is definitely different and you can sense that the moment you walk through the front doors. Great students produced by a great instructor year after year is not a coincidence! “I would like to gatekeep this place. I don’t want anyone else to know how peaceful it is. How nicely the gravel crunches under your feet in the garden. The way soft jazz music floats thru the property, or how good it smells. How close it is to a really lovely stretch of beach.I don’t want anyone else to know any of those things, because I want to be able to come back to this place and soak all of it up again and again.So don’t go. “Let me start off w/ saying our family , friends love B2. Food is great and 98 % of the time we have a great time at B2. Unfortunately this is the second time w/ the same bartender we had a unfortunate time. Today Saturday 3/16 we simply asked if we could watch CBS the Purdue vs Wisconsin game. After fifteen minutes and zero attention from him my girlfriend asked if he could put the game on CBS again please… We were told “Listen I have a full bar I’m too busy”. The way that was handled was totally inappropriate and rude we are very kind people who live locally and simply just wanted to watch a basketball game at a bar at lunch time. After this happened he made it a point to pay zero attention to us. Luckily the other bartender noticed and made it a point to serve us. We stayed for one drink after this happened and called it a day at B2. Unfortunately this was the second time this guy has made us feel uncomfortable and has been very disrespectful and we will not be coming back to b2 anytime soon.Updated 3/25 - Eric thank you for reaching out and taking the time to talk. Very kind and very professional and it goes a long way after we had a little bit of an unfortunate time at B2 few weeks back. “Sweet Sixteen!! The ballroom is fully renovated and beautiful. Food was delicious and better than expected being its a hotel ballroom. Allison was very accommodating and flexible of our needs. Price was on point with plenty of food for all.”

“I don’t even know where to begin. My husband and I got married at jumping brook on Saturday 3/23/24, and I have no words other than perfection. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. And it poured rain all day long and it still was the perfect day. Diamond and Lady were absolutely perfect. Our drinks were never empty whatever we needed they took care of. Everything was on time and on schedule. I would have my reception there over and over again. We got so many compliments on the food and cocktail hour. It was all flawless! I can’t thank Jumping Brook enough for giving Kenny and I the most perfect day! If you are considering booking here for your wedding, stop considering and book them now, you won’t regret it !”

“Nothing more iconic than the Asbury Park Convention Hall at the boardwalk. Huge facility with shops and restaurants ringing the main hall. Have seen many a show and event here. Plenty of parking, lodging and things to do in the area. Highly recommend you visit if you have the opportunity. Why not make it a weekend.”

“We just had our 40th Class Reunion at the Waterview and had a fantastic night at this venue. Suzanne, the booking manager, was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She was very accommodating and responsive. The main ballroom with the overlooking balcony was spacious and elegant. The passedhors d'oeuvres and buffet selections were all delicious. The pricing, scenic location and private parking are all perks that make this an ideal location to host events.”

“Wow! The staff aboard the River Queen exceeded my expectations. We had my daughter’s baby shower 10/1. It was the start yo God knows how many rainy windy days from hurricane Ian. I pulled up totally overwhelmed and ready to unload my car that had decor for the party in the rain and b4 I knew was greeted by Sharon. She immediately calmed my nerves & assisted in helping me bring the various boxes, decor in. She gave some great suggestions regarding decorating snd could not be more helpful. I knew from that moment on we were going to have the Best baby shower rain or shine and we did. I was also greeted by the captain. He was wonderful, kind & professional. The bartenders & rest of staff made us feel 100% comfortable on our 3 hour cruise.Leading up up to the day I was having more than 2nd thoughts about doing her shower on a boat but when the day came, it was all Perfect!! “Chef Covas Catering did our New Year's Eve wedding at the Long Branch Distillery - They were awesome! The food was fantastic and our point person Samantha was a pro! Lauren, Owner & Executive Chef, was very easy to work with in terms of planning the menu and offering suggestions - she clearly knows what she's doing and made my fiance' (now wife) very comfortable. All our requests were honored and the team was super-attentive and responsive during the event. They nailed the vibe we were looking for and our guests were extremely complimentary of their work. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking to cater an event.”

“We booked the Royal Banquet Hall for our sons’ Birthday party. It was the perfect choice. The hall was spacious, clean, and even had the perfect space to store and serve food and drinks. The bathrooms are nicely tucked away and don’t take away from the space of the hall at all. Ashleigh was a pleasure to work with and made everything easy from booking to the end of the party. “Eagle Oaks came highly recommended to us while we were searching for a venue to host our big day. We could not have asked for anything more. From the service, to the food our expectations were far exceeded.We met Amanda in the very beginning stages of choosing Eagle Oaks. She was there through it all to help answer any and all questions we had, and make sure we were truly settled on all ends from planning to decision making, everything. She was extremely attentive and constantly checking in to ensure there was as little stress as possible. At our final details meeting, she sat and ran through the entire night with me so we knew our wedding would be exactly what we wanted.We met Melissa at our tasting last fall. She was amazing from the start. Her attitude was so positive, kind, and warm. My husband and I knew we would be in good hands immediately. She checked on us throughout our tasting, making sure we understood how everything would work on the big day, as well as ensuring we were happy with everything.Fast forward to the wedding, Melissa was nothing short of amazing once again. From the very moment my bridal party and I arrived, she came in to check in on us throughout the afternoon and evening with a beaming smile every time, again ensuring everyone was happy and enjoying themselves.My parents and I were introduced to George at our final details meeting. He too had a fantastic attitude to the point that even after only speaking with him for a few moments, I knew we would not have anything to worry or stress about.The night of our rehearsal, George made us feel very comfortable that everything would go off without a hitch Friday evening (which it did). George spent ample time explaining to the bridal party, our families, and officiant, exactly how everything would work for the ceremony. Checking in to see if anyone had any questions or concerns, and made suggestions on how to improve aspects such as the bridal party entrance and exit so that it would look as seamless as possible. He took extra time to explain how everything else for the day would work for my husband, Chris, and I.When we returned Friday afternoon, George promptly greeted myself, the bridal party, and my parents. He and Melissa walked us to the bridal suite and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed.After the ceremony, George led Chris and I back to the bridal suite, making sure we had a chance to eat and have some alone time as newlyweds before the party started. All night, he was by our side making sure everything went smoothly and stayed on schedule.Donna was also incredible. She too checked in on me in the bridal suite several times throughout the night. We had some great conversation! Just like Melissa and George, she too had a wonderful personality.One thing I can say for certain is that Eagle Oaks has an amazing, attentive, caring and truly kind staff. Another is that the food is just absolutely beyond words, and the service is excellent. I will be recommending the venue any and every chance I get.We could not have imagined or asked for a more beautiful special day.”

“I travel a lot for work and often find myself at Holiday Inns. I have a select few locations that i frequent but this was a family trip. We selected this location due to its proximity to the areas we were there to visit and because they had a pool for my boys to swim. Unfortunately, the pool was down for maintenance. The pool finally was fixed as we were checking out for a long trip home.I brought this to the attention of the staff, being there specifically for the pool and they did everything they could to make it right. Outside of magically making the pool available they made it right by me and my family.To Tyler, Tristen, and the rest of the staff, THANK YOU for your customer service! It's hard to find in this day and age.Overall, a great stay and we will be back to this location.One other item, the breakfast was by far the best!!Food & drinks: Breakfast is awesome!Noteworthy details: Great customer service!!”

“I've been here many times and thought I had reviewed it in the past. The bread was divine- crunchy on the outside, warm & soft on the inside. The sangria was ok. The eggplant rollatini was scrumptious. The mozzarella sticks were OK. The accompanying marinara sauce was wonderful. The lasagna didn't have enough sauce, but it as good nonetheless. It tasted like the inside of the ravioli was unseasoned, and the sauce did not taste as well as the marinara that accompanied the mozzarella sticks. The tiramisu was very good and authentic. The service was immaculate.”

“Such a great Easter dinner with family at Arugula! There were 7 of us in our party. We had a reservation and were seated right away in the front table by the window which I loved. Our server, Gino, was wonderful from start to finish. He was on it all night! love that it is BYOB. He brought us over champagne glasses for our Prosecco right away and a cold glass for the beer. Also he brought over an ice bucket to chill our other bottle of wine. The food was delicious! NY strip was cooked perfectly. The pork with sweet potatoes in a buttercream sauce was award winning and I can see why! Chicken parm was on point! The salad we all received prior to our meals was different and so delicious. Not sure what the dressing was but I loved it. The little bites of pineapple in the salad made it even more delicious. We wanted a group picture after dinner outside and Gino was happy to take it. I loved this hidden gem and will be back for sure! I would probably change some things about the decor but overall great experience!!!!”

“We are a local architecture firm and held our office holiday party here recently. Having been to the Supper Club for different music events throughout the years, I wasn't sold on how their event planners, Vicki & Libby, would be able to create a warm and inviting place for our 48 staff members in a room that can accommodate 160 guests. But I have to say, they knocked it out of the park! The placement of the buffet tables to close in the space a bit was perfect and they were happy to accommodate my requests when it came to fostering an environment where everyone could choose to casually hang out at hi-top tables, at the bar, in the seated window spaces or at regular tables with their colleagues. They rolled in a Christmas tree for the stage, designated an area for our selfie station, permitted us to add our company logo to their 2 LCD panels on stage, provided a microphone for our speeches, played my specific Spotify playlist for us in their audio booth, etc. We did not pay extra for these items/services. Our add-on appetizer table by the bar was perfect for guests who arrived hungry and needed a little something before the buffet came out. The food we chose from their generous menu was all wonderful. We added a carving station with roast beef, which got rave reviews. The staff was perfectly accommodating that day, even to our gluten free employee (which I had forgotten about!). We chose the open bar tab package which worked out great because half of our staff doesn't drink alcohol. We have a culturally diverse team scattered amongst all ages here and as the HR Manager, it was important to me that EVERYONE had a good time and felt they were appreciated. I received fantastic feedback across the board. Especially from our Owner/Principal. He couldn't have been more pleased. Big thank you to Vicki & Libby for making me look good:)”
