Silva Orchids is great. They have many species, and hybrids, of vandas, phaelonopsis, cattleya, dendrobiums, brassavola, paphiopedalum, as well as many other alliances I have not mentioned. The selection is diverse and inventory is large.

Extremely knowledgeable owner, and am insanely wide variety of orchids. I was extremely impressed with the amount of orchids here. They do repotting and even boarding for your orchids.

They are always good. I go to the shows and visit often. So many varieties. If you have any questions about your orchids, this is the place to go and ask. They have very good quality orchids.

I’ve found this orchid nursery online.Being a 1 year amateur orchid grower, had many questions which were kindly answered by Joe. He was patient with me and had offered a bunch of recommendations on how to take care of Orchids I’ve got. The plants are very healthy and look gorgeous.Also, it is worth to mention that this Orchid Growing family is honest. I wanted to buy a kind I’ve seen on a orchids show another day, and it happened that Joe HAD the species. I was looking for. However, Joe made me understand that I might not have proper conditions in my house for this jewel to develop properly. Therefore, if I have bought her today, in a month she would be dead in my home.It made me believe that Joe did not care about what he could get from this sale - he cared about conditions a foster home he is sending his baby to, is able to meet her needs.Now I am working on LID LIGHT installation and adding required humidity to a room my Elizabeth Eyes will be living in. See you, Joe soon, for my E.Eyes and a reporting class:)

Once you find the place, the quality of the plants is obvious and the owner is super knowledgeable and patiently answers questions. I had no idea orchids could have a fragrance; it smelled heavenly in the greenhouse so he must be doing something right! Assuming this plant survives my care, I will definitely be back again!Word of warning that it's a residential area and the Wayside Rd address isn't accurate, the driveway is off of Phoebe Dr. You are in the right place and the greenhouse is open to the public!

Silva's orchids is a hidden gem if you live in Monmouth county. Their facility is literally a secret garden in Neptune off of Wayside Road. I found them one day in NYC, learned about them from a floral designer, bc they have all kinds of rare orchids and have an awesome reputation, I didn't realize they were basically my neighbors! Their orchids are local, and because they're not being shipped all over the blooms last FOREVER, I'm talking 6 months, better than a Wegman's orchid and same price. They are extremely friendly and passionate and will help you learn if you are new to growing orchids.. They grow so many rare varieties and hybridize their own. It's super fun just to visit and walk around their greenhouse for a weekend afternoon

Silva Orchids is a wonderland of stunning orchids. Many varieties are available, and the visual beauty of so many orchids in bloom is outstanding. The owners are very helpful and the prices are remarkably reasonable.

Had a great time checking out what was available. Despite having moved their inventory back into greenhouses, everything was clean and easy to see. Super fair prices for heirloom cattleya and species alike, you can get something fun and new for any budget. I’m super excited to go back when things go “back to normal” and see their fuller selection!
