This isnt a review of mechanical abilities but gas. I am giving this place 2 stars cause their V- power 93 gas is 40 to 20 cents higher than all other shells in the area.. Only thing I can think of is it is in mountainside and mountainside and the surrounding towns are people with money that can afford gas prices that high. I would recommend downloading the shell fuel rewards app and finding a shell that is cheaper.. Saving up to 8 dollars on a fill up is alot of money and adds up

This auto repair is a private business housed at the Shell Station at the corner of Mountain Ave and New Providence Road. The owner, Dave, is one of the nicest and most professional and caring person I have met in a long time. He obviously takes great pride in his work and will not finish the work until he is completely satisfied. I have an Infiniti and not particularly thrilled with the work or prices from the dealer. Dave was trying to fix a faulty light and took it upon himself to call the dealer to inquire what they had worked on. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this man. I believe he specializes in Japanese cars but I would ask if he fixed all makes!

I brought my car in today because I had a slow leak in my tire. Dave was extremely helpful and professional. My tire was fixed in no time. I will definitely bring my car back for service in the future!

Rees automotive is highly recommended as an honest reliable auto service station, who has strong expertise on all makes and models of cars and trucks. Located at the Shell service station on Mountain ave, Mountainside. I have had various work done on three vehicles, Volvo, Jeep and Audi. I was impressed with the "extra mile" and attention to detail I was getting with my repairs! When you meet the owner Dave Rees you know you can trust his friendly honest opinion and recommendations on the repairs. Unlike dealerships where you do not know who is working on your vehicle and some dealers try to up sell work, Dave will always tell you like it is, will give you his honest assessment and give you options. Rees auto is way more reasonable and less expensive then the dealers too! I have recommended friends, one who had Rees auto replace his entire engine on his old and favorite jeep, and was thrilled with the workmanship and to have his jeep like new again. If you are looking for a reliable mechanic I recommend stopping by and speaking to Dave and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed! You will find a reliable mechanic friend for life!
