We just purchased a house and we wanted our floors refinished before we moved in. We were referred to Patrick by our real estate agent who was awesome. Not once did we meet Patrick in person. We had a lock box on our door so he could complete the flooring. The one time he wanted to meet, we were only avail after work because we lived in a different state, but he wanted to meet to only get the check to start the flooring. Which was fine with us.
Before he could start we asked if they had any recommendations for wall removals. We were billed from the same company so I'm not sure if it's the same employees or a third party. The walls were removed and the floors came out great. The issues were, one of my outlets stopped working. I had an inspection that tested all of them, and they all worked before the walls were touched. So I'm out an outlet in the dining room.
After the flooring was completed. Patrick was supposed to come back and clean up that Thursday, I told him it was fine, because I was going to come by that weekend. He DID NOT come by to clean up. My garage was still filled with trash. I couldn't park in my own garage. I didn't mind, maybe something came up. My husband contacted him and he said he was going to stop by Monday or Tuesday. My husband said that's fine because we were going to come back Wednesday. Wednesday comes, he still DID NOT clean up. I contacted him via text, tried calling, straight to VM, contacted his company, emailed Scott. Scott said he was out Monday and Tuesday and that he thought Patrick called my husband to let him know. NO! Patrick only has my number, I never received any notification that Patrick was not able to come by Monday or Tuesday. I would have been fine, if there was some type of communication, but there wasn't. We told him we needed him to clean up so we can start moving in and his response was, "I didn't know things were happening so soon and you were waiting on me." If you say you're going to do something, follow through. I'm very disappointed in this service. I would ask questions and they would say, I'll find out for you, but I wouldn't get any response. I've just given up and I would not recommend using them again.

The entire team at Selecta Flooring was excellent! From the prompt communication and extensive knowledge about their craft during the estimate process to the amazing and detail oriented job they did on our floors, we are so happy we chose them. Went amazing. Scott and Patrick were extremely professional, worked closely with us as our requests grew and changed. We started with one room and ended up doing our entire house. We had a tight deadline after initial estimate and Patrick made sure to get the test stains down and get the project started and finished during our timeline.

Selecta Flooring is GREAT! I highly recommend Selecta Flooring for your flooring needs. Our turnaround was really quick - I merely had two weeks to find a quality flooring specialist - they responded to my email within 20 hours, we hopped on the phone and I got a great quote. Next day I made the deposit payment and the guys were working on our floors two days afterwards. We were fortunate to find these guys. I contacted several flooring experts and the other two options responded to my inquiries 3 days later (meanwhile my floors were already being worked on!), and they all quoted me 20-30% higher prices, AND were not able to start right away. Our floors look awesome. Selecta Flooring removed carpeting in a few areas, sanded all the floors (3br, living room and 9ft hallway), stained and finished - everything was dry and ready to move in within just 8 days. We picked our stain and finish directly on the floors, so we knew how it will look finished, and we are very happy how they turned out - exactly how we wanted them. After all the work was done I contacted Selecta Flooring again, just to get a recommendation on the wood floor cleaning products they'd recommend, and they responded that day with a link to the good stuff - I ordered it and now I can relax: I got beautiful hardwood floors, I paid a reasonable price for quality work, and I know I have a great cleaning product to maintain my gorgeous floors - bringing my home value up. We love Selecta Flooring. Thank you Scott, Mike and Patrick, for our great hardwood floors.

I'm extremely pleased with the work Selecta did for me. They responded promptly to my request and worked with me on a satisfactory price. The planned work dates were met and the disruption to our home life minimized. Great care was taken to ensure no dust went into other parts of our house, and it was successful. The quality of the work was generally very good, but there was one very small area where the sanding was not finished; an issue that was very quickly corrected. Overall I am very pleased with the work, and I unhesitatingly recommend Selecta Flooring.

Selecta Flooring recently sanded and refinished the hardwood floors in my home. It was a large job that required staging of the first floor and stairs so we had to move out of the house. Patrick kept the job on time so that we could move back in as planned. He was able to mix a stain color that I love and ensured that the finish is exactly what I was hoping for. The floors are gorgeous. Patrick and Michael are very helpful and great craftsmen. Their crews are trustworthy and excellent in what they do. Selecta also installed and finished the floors in a second home a few years ago with Rubio Monocoat Oil that I also love. I highly recommend Selecta.

I want to thank Patrick, Scott and the entire Selecta team for the outstanding job they did in refinishing our existing floor and stairs with Rubio Monocoat. They responded to my web inquiry the day after I sent it. They sent a preliminary estimate based on my measurements and photos I sent them. The following day Patrick promptly came to my house to confirm the measurements. He also was kind enough to stain a few Rubio colors and combinations for me on a piece of flooring wood he had with him. This was important to me because my spouse would not be available to see the stain samples that Selecta does on your wood floor after they sand it. We made a decision on the Rubio color we would use based on that sample that Patrick stained for us. The deal was sealed as a result of Patrick’s visit and Selecta updated their estimate based on their measurements. Execution was punctual, timely and flawless. When Selecta says they will be on site at 7:30 am they mean it. They prepped quickly closing off all areas of the house that could potentially get dust and they even cleaned up in areas I though I would would have to clean after they finished the job. I also want to point out how happy I am about the duration of the job. My kids do virtual learning at home and had two days where there was no school. Selecta knew when they had to start the job in order to guarantee that my kids could get to their bedrooms before school resumed. They actually exceeded that guarantee. We were able to walk on our new floor on Saturday vs Sunday which gave me all of Sunday to get my house back in order. There are dozens of flooring companies but if you are planning to have a Rubio floor refinished or newly installed you don’t want to go with a contractor that doesn’t have enough experience with Rubio. I chose Selecta primarily based on their experience with Rubio and it shows in the beautiful Rubio floor they refinished in my home.
