Every time I take my pet to Banfield we are always met with a warm welcome and friendly smiles! They have and continue to be a wonderful group of people to work with every time without fail. They are always extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to handle my pets care.

Very caring and attentive to my puppy. Love the way they handle everything. I appreciate the text reminders for appointments.

I have used Banfield for 10 years, and they have always been fine and friendly but today they are getting one star. My dog had a medical emergency and when I called to tell them the symptoms they just told me to feed him chicken and rice and monitor until the next day. I had to take him to another vet where he needed emergency life saving surgery. I couldn't be more disappointed in their response, and if I hadn't gone somewhere else my dog wouldn't have survived. I feel like we were blown off and the symptoms weren't taken seriously. Not to mention that I pay for the Wellness plan, and they did not provide the services that I pay them for. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Horrible!!!!!! My poor 2 year old baby had some type seizure coming out of having his teeth cleaned!!!! My dog went STIFF! Yes you read that correctly! They told me my dog was stiff and would not move for at least 10 minutes after they removed his breathing tube! My dog had the same procedure last year without any issues, the main so called Dr called me tonight and gave me an attitude becaUe I was upset when she told me that this time they doubled one of his medications! Then she yelled at me “hey don’t talk to me that way! Like r you serious!! The manger lied and told me that everything was the same as last year and apparently it wasn’t! This is not m first time having an issues with these people, but test Addie it will be my last! They lost my trust and business taking care of my dogs!

If I could give zero stars i would. Avoid this place at ALL costs! My pet went in for a regular exam and they mixed her up with another animal and prepped her for surgery!!!! They gave her medicine to put her to sleep according to the other pets weight.(I have a very small pet) Then the vet herself told me "well we didn't even have to tell you." They never documented it and I still don't know the exact amount they gave my pet!!! It was a BIG PROBLEM after all that they still sent my pet home in the other pets leash and harness. I ended up contacting the other pets owners to find out the size of their pet so I can attempt so ballpark how much they gave my pet!!! So disappointing and absolutely HORRIBLE. In addition they didn't want to cancel my wellness plan after this. I had been going here for roughly a decade prior to this incident AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Pricing is ridiculous, I’ve been calling for over a week to get my pets test results and they don’t answer the phone. Take your pet elsewhere.

This place has really gone downhill. They don't make any time for sick or unwell pets; they book up every day for weeks and months in advance with well visits and when your pet isn't feeling well you're told to either check another location or go to an emergency vet. Not only is the "go to another location" answer extremely rude and inconvenient for us, but every single location within 20 miles is totally booked for months as well. Not to mention, the office staff refused to help us find a location that could see our pet; they told us they're "too busy" to help with that. Funny, because we are calling them constantly during work to see if there are openings to take in our sick pet, but I guess we aren't too busy? Also regarding the emergency vet response - why should we be paying a ton of money a year to never be able to bring our pets in, and then on top of it, pay big $$$ to go to an emergency vet in a non-emergency situation? We PAY to use this vet, we should be able to rely on them when our pet is unwell as well as when he needs his yearly visits. They've also told us they only have one vet on staff and that's why it's so hard to fit in our pet to be seen. HOW is this possible?! One vet every day all day? When do they get a break or a day off? There's no way this is true. I think what's really happening here is that they don't want to deal with sick pets, only well ones. It's ridiculous and terrible to the pets that need more urgent care, but don't need to go to an emergency vet. We currently pay about $800+ a year to bring our pets here, and we can't EVER get an appointment without a huge hassle, and that's when they're well. Over the last year, every time we've tried to bring in our unwell pets they've given us a hard time and haven't been able to see them because they're "too busy." After the remainder of our payment plan is up we are canceling and NEVER coming back. Other people should stop coming here as well. They don't deserve our money, because they don't care about our pets. Plan and simple.

Avoid at all costs. Do not take the wellness plan. This “hospital” does not properly evaluate or treat patients, you will not see a vet face to face, and your pet may be only being evaluated and seen by a tech, which is not what you are paying for. Make sure to review your discharge paperwork if you are unfortunate enough to be locked into this place with your pet. Ask questions. I had to speak to corporate management in order to get a doctor on the phone, who basically told me that she never even looked at my pet, but the paperwork has her name all over it. My cat, who has been a patient of theirs for 16 years, recently started to come down with medical issues, after going yearly for visits and checkups. Regardless of being healthy or not, not one visit over those 16 years was fully covered by the scam “wellness plan”, and involved an additional fee. Now, that she is suffering issues, (started with an apparent eye infection, but was revealed to be entropion) and thyroid issues (with blood work required two weeks apart at $300 per workup, and only given enough medication to get to the blood work appointment, with no flexibility on scheduling once you get into this hellish two week money cycle) we realized we were being given the run-around. Go to Mount Laurel Animal Hospital, they are truly caring people who ended up saving my cats life and left eye.
