Not sure if I was scammed on a recent visit .. I knew who much I had in the account I used to my “ wine “ purchases. There was a lady in front of me that made “ small “ talk before grabbing her items & leaving. I proceeded to put my wine bottle up to be scanned for purchase… The cashier hit the total button and I gave her my card without actually looking at the final total. She gave me my card back and said that I still owed 7+ dollars… I purchased the same wine every day from the same place, and I knew what I was to be charged. I did not have enough on the card that I used to cancel a purchase… I told her I would speak to Sonny the owner on the following day .. he stated I owed him 14.92 but I think they owe me $14.92

To the women who believes she may have been scammed .I was a customer behind you and I believe the lady who rang up our purchases only received a partial authorization on ur purchase when bringing to your attention she had said she returned it and if a mistake was made you could handle the next day with the owner also still allowing you to leave with your purchase (as your own post admits )doesn’t sound like establishment was looking to scam you. I was on to originally leave a post about small business and how nice it was of this establishment to trust a regular customer .
