“I went to the SouthHampton NJ store to buy a trailer that was listed online as being in stock. When I got there the trailer in stock was damaged because a purchaser left the lot and the tire fell off. The closest store that had the 5.5x10 trailer was an hour away, but not far from my home. They tried to help be purchase online which was not an option (to hold my item). Very nice and helpful. I drove to the other store in Hillsboro NJ and they had 2 trailers, one w the hitch lever bent. I bought the good trailer by using the Affirm app. Employees never saw this way to purchase but helped me successfully to purchase in store w the app (it wasn't easy and it's Black Friday so......). They were stressed, kind, patient and very very helpful. I couldn't leave the trailer for any period of time to save it as a Xmas gift (you could make money letting people get it later btw) so I brought my husband to the store later in the day to surprise him. It was like going back to the store to meet friends for the reveal. Even though I had many issues, more related to the processes of the franchise) I had a wonderful (but stressful) experience and would definitely go back to both stores.”
“Great store! Great Selection and prices seem decent!So I bought a house recently and boy are we out of our league! The original as well as the previous owners both put in weird lights all over the house and we are having a nightmare of a time trying to replace bulbs...So I took a few of them to Ace to try and figure out what I need, and unfortunately they were unable to help me. The labels on the bulb faded, and they looked like 3 different types of bulbs and we had no idea the wattage...The store was jam packed! It has very small aisles, just big enough for 2 people to walk down. Every square inch has something to sell. It is basically a slimmed down Home Depot. It was nice but a little dated and shabby, but if you come here you are not looking for a new clean modern aesthetic, you are here for a specific item.All in all the staff was friendly, but unfortunately was unable to help me with my bulbs. If I do need basic home improvement items, this will be my place to go!”

“They have one of the largest selections of lighting fixtures that I have ever seen in one location. If you are looking for any type of light/lamp and you cannot find something there your not going to find it anywhere.”
“Even though it's a half a mile off the road in the back of Crispin square shopping center, it was a good experience. I had to get keys made and the girl was extremely helpful and fast. In fact one of the keys had a chip in it and she wasn't able to copy it for me, but recommended another place to save me an expensive trip to the car dealership. I went there and she was right, she saved me about 80 bucks. Infact, it's things like that why I prefer smaller hardware stores rather than home depots or Lowe's. I'd definitely return for any of my hardware needs just because of the service I received.”
“It's a great hardware store that sadly is closing. It is for sale, but the owner hasn't found a buyer. Need to move quickly - these kind of stores are more important than the big box ones when you are looking for the niche items and personal project care.”

“Great people there. I couldn't find a value stem for my shower on my 1998 boat. The manufacturer was out of business and no inventory exited. They rebuilt the old stem I had . The parts cost was 37 cents and they refused to charge the time they spent doing it. Will always use them 1st.”

Helped us at the cash register and advocated for us at check-out when there was a misunderstanding during our check-out. Total all around great sales experience. She was top notch in making sure everything was taken care of, including the work ticket to have our grill assembled. Thank you Claire!”
“This is the single greatest home improvement store I have ever had the pleasure of shopping at. The staff at this particular Home Depot are second to none. All too often you go into a home improvement store and the employees are less than helpful, but not here. The associates in plumbing, electrical, power tools, lawn/garden, hardware and more are some of the most well-versed and helpful people you could hope for. You need to know anything about anything? Ask for Coach. I have yet to have a question that someone there couldn’t answer, and I have a lot of questions on a lot of projects. I swear it’s like Home Depot cherry-picks their best employees to work at this location. It’s always clean, always well stocked, and it never feels overly crowded. I hope corporate gives this location the recognition it deserves because living close to this store should raise your property value.”

“I'm so glad that I was able to visit here, and find the tools that I need. I needed to find a 27mm, six point socket. I didn't want to buy a whole "large size" socket set, or a complete tool kit. If you do auto repairs, you'll find yourself in need of maybe just one single large socket (from time to time). No other major retail chain store came through for me, and I needed this socket ASAP. I can tell you, from what I saw, that if I were to buy an entire tool set here- well, I looked at their prices, and they are very competitive and reasonable. I found this socket at Harbor Freight Tools, and the price was under $5 dollars! I was pleasantly surprised.The selection of tools, hardware, and assembly equipment here is just outstanding! This location is convenient, easy to reach from major highways, and not snarled with major traffic congestion. The staff here was very helpful, and provided assistance to myself, and others. There was ample parking, as the store is located within a group of connected stores.”
