Gonzo Glass is a hidden gem in downtown Mt Holly. It is filled with the work of extremely talented and socially conscious artists and a staff that is warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I will definitely be purchasing glassware exclusively there from here on out. Also definitely interested in the glass blowing classes they have coming up as well as the community events they offer to introduce new artists! Long story short... Gonzo Glass def has a new customer in me!

This is the only place I've ever come across in the glass community that actively discourages other glass workers. Avoid this place AT ALL COST! If you are new, or if you are a glass god, Pat and Devin don't care about you. It's a shame because I would have loved coming here as a regular. Too difficult for them to even pick up the phone (not listed for a reason) and take my money for glass blowing lessons or to rent hotshop space. Felt like I had to beg them for months to get through the doors, and only had one lesson from 6-8month of being strung along. False advertising on the website, and terrible treatment of patrons. Why not take my money, weekly, for basic business? Because they are doing some very shady things here not involving glass... Probably shouldn't have exposed how you pay your workers, Pat. Reader be weary, and on notice.

I found this cool and eclectic shop while roaming around downtown Mt Holly. I've always been interested in glass art and I decided to see what they were all about. Along with glassblowing and other art classes there is some retail here as well. A small selection of vape items, a few cases with glass pipes, art, jewelry and beer glasses, all made by local artists. There is a bit of wall art, clothing and other things that don't quite fit into other categories. Lots to look at. I had a chance to speak with the glass artisan Devin who teaches the blowing classes. He is very passionate about his craft and I think would be a great teacher to learn from. He informed me that some people come with a specific product in mind that they'd like to learn how to make. While others just want to see what the experience is like and decide what to make as they learn more. Personally, I'd like to try to make a personalized beer goblet. But h can tailor the classes to whatever the student is looking to do. While there I had a chance to speak with one of the owners, Pat. He explained that pre Covid this was a spot where local artist people would come to hangout and talk, some of those people help run the shop and the art on display is their own. He's a super kind guy and I can see coming here just to shoot the breeze. I think a broader use of this shop is the glass classes. It could be a fun date day to come here first for a class then explore the town for food and libations, both of which have solid options here. Cool find

Great place and great atmosphere! So glad I found this little gem. They sell pipes and other smoking paraphernalia, as well as local artist goods such as knit/crochet blankets and scarves, jewelry, candles, and art. They also have art classes for drawing, watercolor, oil, alcohol ink, and digital. Not to mention they have glass blowing classes!Check them out on the first Friday evening of every month! They often have DJs and a giveaway!I bought this piece off the wall.

"Wait, we can't stop here, this is Bat country!"Which is exactly why you should stop here. This is certainly a unique shop and studio, and a must see place when you come to Mount Holly. They have really nice pieces of glass and other art for sale here. The good vibes and friendly staff are also very welcoming. You can also watch their glass work in progress and classes taking place through smokey tinted window panes.
