I was losing pressure in one of my tires. I went to a few different places to get it taken care of and was told they were all too busy. This went on for 2 days. I finally went to Al who owns Mt Arlington Auto Repair. He was a gift from heaven! He fit me in and took care of it. He is very friendly and kind. I will definitely go back to him for all my car issues. It also is great that he is close to where I live, added bonus! Thank you, Al!

Excellent and trustworthy service. Got my brake pads and rotors replaced on all four. Called early in the week, appointment was quickly scheduled, got my car back in a day. Everything was clearly communicated with me throughout the process. Very friendly guy. Will be coming back and recommending to anyone that needs their car serviced.

I stopped in to Mt. Arlington Auto Repair because I had a slow leak in my back tire. The owner (Al) came out and greeted me with a friendly hello. When I told him my situation, he stopped what he was working on and looked at my tire. He found a nail and repaired the tire within 5 minutes. I will definitely stop by again for my future car needs. Thank you very much

I was driving to Lake Hopatcong for the weekend when my check oil level light came on. A few minutes later, I saw the sign for Mt Arlington Auto Repair, so I pulled in to see if they could help me. Al stopped what he was doing, had me pull my car up, checked the level of the oil, and added what my car needed. I was so impressed by the level of service and his kindness.Service: Oil change

Stopped in today as I had a tire going flat. Asked if I could use the air pump, was willing to pay. Was told get lost. Said to my friend in the car do you believe this, the guy inside the garage started yelling and threating. What a jerk! Will never use ir recommend again.

Yes al I have my spouse was the one who had work done and I had spoke to you with the idea of future work which won't be needed now our complaint is via description and explanation of the work as. u said your self we don't seem to have any issues with quality of work just the over the phone quote to price given upon pick up

Al was great I went in to see what was wrong with my car it was making this screeching noise that was annoying the hell out of me and as soon as he heard it he knew right away it was the belt. He fixed it within minutes and the sound was finally gone and my neighbors were finally happy they didn’t have to cringe anymore when they heard my car coming down the street. This shop is a little far for me but just on Al’s honesty I will be returning, let’s be honest there are many mechanics out to get you but he told me the problem right away told me was a quick fix and gave me a fair price. If you want a mechanic who doesn’t play games and does good work I recommend you give him a try.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was a previous customer of this shop and have brought many cars there. The new ownership is great! I brought my aging car for a leaking power steering rack. Not only was my car fixed, the explanation was thorough with pictures of possible future problems and great communication. It’s pleasing to see a business of so long continue with a new enthusiastic owner. Will be returning. Thank you for a quick honest fix.

I ran out of gas while driving on Howard Blvd. and pulled over near the shop. When I went in to ask for assistance, Al was kind enough to lend me his gas can and drive me to a gas station so I could get my car going again. He was extremely helpful and refused to take a tip! Come here for great service!
