I have tried for over a week to get a quote for residential services (nothing special just simple household trash pickup) and have not recieved a call back or email after leaving 4 messages. I wonder if existing customers have this much trouble trying to get in contact with them.

If I could give negative stars I would. I never thought I would actually miss a garbage company of all things, but blue diamond sure has made me miss Ayer’s! Once I set up with Ayer’s there was no contact needed. Automatic payments worked perfectly, and pickup was ALWAYS on time. With blue diamond it’s been pretty much random. Sometimes they take the garbage, sometimes the recycling, sometimes neither. They have now skipped my recycling three (going on four) weeks in a row. My can is full, and I have more than another can’s worth in the house, AND I have family coming over this weekend. I have called four or five times in the past few days and AFTER SEVRAL PROMISES, no one ever comes. I’d run it down to the dump but I don’t have room in my car due to all the work stuff I have in there at the moment, and about a million and a half things for the bags to rip on. What am I even paying you for? You’re GARBAGE MEN! Pick up my GARBAGE! And based on plenty of other reviews this is par for the course for this company. Unreal.

Called twice on 3/14/2023 and explained how there reps left a Pile of Cardboard on my front yard when recycling was the day before. They told me it was a mistake that would be corrected by end of the day. Still 5:01pm 3/14/2023 and the cardboard is still on my front yard and now I have to bring it back in before my lake community fines me. Terrible company who doesn't answer the phone or do their job in the correctly. 2 Full days you left trash out as a trash and recycling company that is a Joke. I will be filling a complaint with the BBB on how well you handle your customers and issues.

Spoke with Mario today. He was pleasant, understanding of my concern, & took care of it right away. We’ve been with this company for roughly five years & they’ve been fine. Prompt pick up & clear about the scheduling.

Just horrible. Every week theres a issue this week stops at my house watched it on camera open the lids of my two cans hopped back on the truck and never picked up any of my garbage. Last week they only took one can . Week before the same . Everytime you call and say something the guy tells me ill make sure they come back around leave the cans out there. Noone ever comes back around. Ayers was awesome never had a problem

I was a former Ayer’s Sanitation customer and after the sale of the business to Blue Diamond my pickup service has hit rock bottom. I have random pickup of recycling, no pick up of cardboard and every week they spill my recycling container- leave the contents all over the street and drive away. All this after a rate increase and a HUGE Christmas cash bonus. Do we have any other companies servicing Sussex County. Help frustrated in Wantage!

The company has been great. If there is a snow storm they don’t pick up. I called x2 and was told we will b there. Never showed up. Disappointing. I’m a loyal customer.

Dropping our service today. Truck never showed for recycling pickup called several times- no answer or hung up. Awful service!

So after being transferred from Ayers Sanitation, Blue Diamond changed my pickup time without notifying me, defaced my mail box by putting a sticker on it that says, your trash wasn't out at your normal pickup time 5:30am. Then they picked it up anyway and when I attempted to remove the sticker it was like it was installed with super glue and half the sticker is still there. They have denied the use of the stickers, have promised me that they will clean it off and this has been since August. Now they have taken to removing the lids from my cans and throwing them down the bank behind them into my pine trees. Once the recycling lid was almost 6ft up into the tree, regularly down the slippery bank. When I speak to their customer service team, the first thing they say instead of I'm sorry or we will look into that, is "you saw our guys throw the lids into the trees?" Do I need to be down there at 5:30am to watch your personnel collect my garbage and recycling?

Have had 1 pick up since December 1st...always either an excuse or they are making a note of it. AND they emailed me a bill for January!

We miss Ayers! This company is horrible! They suspended our service because the bill was overdue....How about SENDING A BILL ? How about an email, letter, call, text? They had ALL our contact info wrong. Funny Ayers didn't have a problem getting a bill to us or getting paid! Disaster! They just stopped picking up NO notice. When I called them the man on the phone was disrespectful, unapologetic, and nasty. Looks like they are following in Waste Management's footsteps. When are we going to get a reputable company here? Ayers was phenomenal. This is yet another excuse of a low life company running a horrible business because they can - because we all have such limited choices. I will be going to the dump myself. Their poor customer service and poor service in general just cost them another customer ! BYE BYE BD! You didn't last long with us and I'm sure you won't with many others with your nasty , lazy, inadequate employees!

Canceling this service. Missed pick ups - very inconsistent. Customer service is horrible. I pay for a service I expect it to be completed. Don’t waste your time!

Disaster! They picking and choosing whos garbage are good enough to be taken or not! For over a.month we have not been lucky to have "pretty" enough recycling garbage to be collected! A freaking joke!

They say on a do not pick up list (because of past bill). (Never had a collection contract with them), Never got a bill, No records of billing in office, refuses to provide service. good luck...
