I do not regularly shop at Talbots but I needed a pair of black slacks for the next day. I had already tried three other stores with no luck. I happen to be passing talbots and decided to stop in. I was happy to find a pair of slacks I liked on a sale rack. In addition, they were an extra 25% off. Unfortunately they were navy blue. I approached the checkout counter and spoke with Joyce. She was kind enough to go into the back to look for two sizes in black for me. She was able to find both. They were already a really great price, but in addition, Joyce signed me up for the rewards program for an additional discount and I also got an additional discount for it being my birthday month. I got great quality slacks at a great price. In addition, I got to shop in a lovely store where I received friendly personal service.

I have been shopping at Talbot's in Morristown, on Mt Kimble Ave, for many years.Maria continues to provide awesome customer service to me. She always goes above and beyond. She has a good eye for what colors and styles will work for me.I always get compliments on the clothes and items she helps me pick out.All of the other sales people are also friendly, helpful and nice.The store is kept in pristine order and I always leave there with a very happy experience.Talbot's, you have a "GEM" in Maria.

My daughter introduced me to Talbots by purchasing some gifts for me from the Morristown store . I am so glad she did . I really love the clothes , they are a good fit for me , and reasonably priced . The many sales add to the great price of their clothing . I find the clothes to be a modern take on good looking classic styling .

Very surprised to see the negative reviews of this Talbots location. Kim, the manager and Kristine, the assistant manager, are the most accommodating people I know. Over time, they have become attuned to what I like, and what I don't like. When I make an appointment, their attention is on me. They preselect items they think I would like. As to customer service, if I see something in the catalog that isn't available in the store, they will search the Talbots system to see if another location has my size. It IS a big store, so they often have a lot of ground to cover. But they are always ready and able to help you out.

Talbots must be doing great in this pandemic. Evidently they can cut their hours so if you try to support local shopping, the doors are locked at 5pm. I was one of four groups of people pulling on locked doors at 5PM.
