My father, James Elliott Lindsley, is a long-time member here, and wrote a book about it entitled "27 Elm Street". I have been fortunate to have eaten many lunches here as a guest. I do miss the late Oliver Ilfill who tended bar here and gave impeccable and awesome service experiences.

Would give the service 5 stars. The food was disappointing. Fish was dry as was the chicken. The pasta lacked flavor. I will give the coffee and cake 5 stars.

Had dinner here last night to celebrate some birthdays. My mother is a member and there were nine of us, and we were seated in the private room just behind the bar - absolutely perfect for the occasion.
