Our experience with the Monk's team has been positive overall - specially because our project manager Garrett Culloo who has been extremely responsive during and after the project. He is very pleasant to work with, professional, patient and most importantly responsive!

After spending a few months searching for a reputable company to remodel our master bath, we met Joe Corticada and his team at Monk's Home Improvement. As the project manager, Joe was super communicative with us throughout the entire process, making it easy and low-touch for us. From start to finish, the entire team was professional and helpful every step of the way, answering any questions and concerns we had, making sure the project came out exactly how we envisioned it. Working with Monk's especially in their expansive showroom was a fun experience as well, as they were patient and involved with giving us suggestions to match our desired aesthetics. I would definitely recommend Monk's for your next home project no matter how small, and stand by their workmanship. We look forward to working with them again for additional projects in the future!

Long time Fanwood resident, we needed some carpentry and painting done, a couple of summers back. I met with multiple contractors and was most impressed by Jason Solomon of Monks Home Improvement. Jason as Monk's project manager, was organized, knowledgeble, and experienced in the work required. Needless to say we were not disappointed, Jason's craftsmen were reliable, skillful and delivered a successful project. Since that first project we have used Monk's services on five other projects. And have yet to be disappointed.

I love my new bathroom, truly love it. The Monk's team was so experienced and professional and I had none of the pitfalls that you have when you worry about doing major work. Joe Corticada was the Project Manager of the team, and he was extremely customer service oriented. My situtation had complications, and he and the team went out of their way to find solutions. Very flexible, and beautiful work. A+++

As a realtor, I have referred Kurt Becker from Monk's to many clients over the years. I finally was able to ask him for assistance to help with my own home, and he gave detailed and thorough estimates for the scope of work. The foreman and his crew were polite, professional and did excellent work. They painted the floors and walls of our very old basement (among other things) and transformed the space. I would highly recommend using Kurt and his crew and hope to work with them again.

I am disappointed that Monks did not back up the work done by their own contractors. Although it was 7 years, the installation of my kitchen sink and plumbing totally failed--sink fell in and plumbing was broken. It was hundreds of dollars to repair. Expecting more than 7 years for this work to last is not unrealistic. Was going to have them install a shower but can't risk it if they aren't going to take responsibility for issues 7 years out.

Amazing experience very professional everything was clearly communicated and then having a job foreman for the project made it an even more personal experience. They worked extremely hard and quick to get the home ready for us to move in timely. Alberto and Jon were fantastic. I Highly recommend them. We had our mudroom and half bathroom renovated and we are very happy with the results. Bill Buckner and Oscar Ortiz's crew were professional and timely. The transformations to both rooms were much needed and I am glad that I selected Monk's Home Improvements.

I found severely damaged wood framing behind our vinyl siding. We had been pleased with an earlier job (interior painting and staining) that Monk's had done, and I asked their George Day for an estimate. He responded promptly with a thorough estimate and was able to schedule the work quickly. The work crew was superb, completed the job in a single day and found the root cause of the damage - some improperly installed/damaged siding and gutters. From start to finish it was an excellent experience.

We recently used Monks to paint our bedroom. We emailed and got an immediate response from Mike Mina. We scheduled a consultatin within a week and Mike was super personable and professional. There was no hard sell and by the end of the meeting we actually decided to paint most of the interior of the house. He brought the foreman over the Friday before the job and again - super accomodating - as i kept changing what i wanted to do. Mike's painters led by the foreman Victor where there the following Monday and showed up every morning by 815. The project was on time and the painters were super respectful and professional. Mike kept in touch to ensure everything was going smoothly and we were happy. I have already called Mike for some additional work. I would highly recommend Monks and specifically if in Morris County -Mike Mina. We cant say enough good things Elyse and Andy L

Hired Monks to fix a flooring issue and replace a slider/door. Their project management and customer communication is impressive. The installers arrived on time and products were as discussed. With 3 small children in the house during construction we were stressed but the workers were very careful and closed off areas for safety.Would absolutely work with Monks again. Thank you team and Roberto!
