Merzatta is a gem of a store... delightful, artistic, easy to shop and a destination my girlfriends and I make every year. Danielle (owner) creates her own original pieces in addition to showcasing local artists and their designs. She's knowledgeable, patient, and her talent is her passion. It shows in all her organic jewelry designs. A must see detour!Got my Lopez Fern ring a few weeks ago and I'm over the moon in love with it! Look forward to stopping in next year.

In my time of need for a Saturday afternoon wedding, the folks at Merzatta near our hotel, were so accommodating by fixing my necklace. It was hard to walk out without buying something as the selection was unique and fantastic. Will definitely visit again when I have more time to purchase jewelry. Located on Cattano Avenue near Headquarters Plaza in Morristown, Merzatta is a small, independently-owned boutique offering a collection of rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets designed and produced by the shop's owners in Morristown and a selection of carefully curated jewelry, leather goods, pottery, and other objets d'art produced by local artisans. The owners' handcrafted collection of jewelry is inspired by nature's shapes and textures. Whenever I've visited the store, I've found the owners to be patient, helpful, and insightful. The owners also take on projects for clients on a commission basis and offer style consulting on a one-on-one or group basis. Merzatta is a terrific place to find a perfect one-of-a-kind gift for yourself or someone special to celebrate an important milestone or just getting through another day.

I usually HATE going to jewelry stores. The awkwardness, the expectation of buying something shiny “that your wife will just LOVE!” We spent probably 2 hours with Danielle talking about how the pieces were made, her inspirations for the pieces. It was a fascinating discussion about nature and plants and process and metallurgy. And then she started showing us videos of how other artists make their pieces that were also in the shop. Danielle was so engaging and genuinely interested in us and what we found interesting. I came away excited (about what we picked out) and inspired to spend bit more time on my own creative outlets.

One of the few silver linings of covid was leading me to Merzatta, whose jewelry designs are made by the owners & inspired by nature. Danielle has helped me evolve my taste in jewelry from inexpensive costume jewelry that I didn’t wear much, to pieces that she helps me choose mindfully. All of the jewelry I’ve purchased (& there have been quite a few!) are thoughtful & I wear them often. They have great gifts at various price points, including handbags, pottery/ceramic, artwork & quilts/pillows. In addition, she will help reinvent vintage pieces so I’ll wear them & think of family members who owned them when I do!

Danielle is so talented. Her store is one of my favorite things about Morristown. She takes the time to talk with you and share the story of her jewelry, that really are like wearing individual pieces of art. I would recommend getting a gift here to anyone!

I'm not sure how to begin to describe the magical experience that was designing my engagement ring with Merzatta. It started when Danielle suggested that we touch base before I start researching engagement rings and it ended when I realized I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else with the process. I sent Danielle dozens of Instagram and interest posts and she helped me articulate why I loved some things and hated others, helped me strike the balance between unique and timeless, romantic and edgy. She talked me down when I had engagement ring nightmares and hyped me up when I was scared that my fingers were too fat. After Danielle sourced potential diamonds my fiance and I took a weekend trip to Morristown and spent the day trying on diamonds, eating delicious food, drinking Turkish coffees, and getting opinions and insights from the fans, customers, and visitors of Merzattaland. Danielle and Chris kept me engaged when I wanted a say in the process -- sharing 3D printed models and CAD mock-ups and kept things quiet when I wanted an element of surprise. The fact that all of these memories are housed in this beautiful piece of jewelry that is uniquely mine is a gift in itself and the fact that I get to wear it every day is a dream for which I am endlessly grateful.

A friend referred me to Danielle to create a birthday present for my mother's 70th. We did a video consult, I mailed her some older pieces I had and she did an amazing sketch and went to work. My mother was blown away. Can't thank her enough!
