They recommended the worst groomer in the world who bullied my cat. They put a black mask over his face and hurt him. He came home screaming, traumatized, and bruised. This groomer is the only groomer that Feline Helath Center recommends. When I phoned in my experience, they said that they have never heard that before, and that I must have an aggressive cat. Nope, but thanks for the gaslighting. I have a very meek, mild mannered long hair. They hung up the phone before I was done explaining. Just out of curiosity, I asked if they recommended any other groomers, the answer was a rude no with more gaslighting. Weeks later, I have found 4 other groomers who have had the same issue with the "recommended" groomer, which traumatized cats. Shame on you!! I would upload photos of my bruised cat, but it would get flagged up by Yelp censors for animal abuse.

I had my cat seen by Dr Ratti for many years. She is knowleadgeable and personable. The staff appears to enjoy her trust a bit too much and take great liberty in how they treat customers. If you are not careful to be in their graces they will let you know in the rudest ways(e.g. no eye contact or greeting response when arriving for a visit, scheduling a visit on a minor holiday then cancel it the day before with the explanation "the office is closed" without apology, etc).As with many businesses these days, esp. in the medical field, the office appears to maximize profits by ordering expensive tests which are notalways necessary or suggesting questionable treatments (e.g. for food allergy, arthritis).Office would also routinely make it difficult to order supplies (e.g. diabetes syringes) or medications online (significantly cheaper than if purchasing directly from the office) by not calling back the vendor and confirming the prescription. My cat developed symptoms consistent with urinary infection for about 6 months (straining in the litter box or urinating outside the box, leukocytes and red blood cells in urinalysis sample then also macroscopic blood). Despite bringing her to the office promptly cat ended up dying of advanced urinary infection which had destroyed her kidneys and caused severe pain and suffering. During this time cat was twice diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystis (which is non infectious) based on urine cultures being negative. When cat eventually passed blood clots in urine I brought her to the office again on a Friday. No doctor was available but I was charged a "technician's visit" fee. Technician's opinion was "this is not good" and "probably cancer" (eventually the diagnosis was advanced kidney infection). Had to bring her back on Monday, then was scheduled for ultrasound on Tue which revealed severe kidney infection with destruction of significant percentage of the organs. If antibiotic was started on Friday instead, maybe, just maybe cat would have stood a chance to survive. Considering the progressively severe symptoms reported in the preceding 3 months, an antibiotic course would have been warranted anyway, since they must know urine cultures can be unreliable.I highly doubt the accuracy of the urine culture (for infection) results during the preceding months and considering the attitude of the staff I wonder if the urine sample was preserved properly before being sent to the lab, especially on a Friday. I wish I sought a second opinion when cat was diagnosed with idiopathic cystitis. Some of the test results performed in house were also plain wrong more than once and led to incorrect treatment (e.g. discontinuation of insulin when cat was dependent).I spent many thousands of dollars in visits over the years and in the end cat died a horrible death of an infection which went undiagnosed despite classic symptoms.

Very friendly and helpful! Staff was very informative, I drove 50 minutes to come here as a recommendation! Reasonably priced too! This will be my feline vet moving forward!

I have mostly good things to say except one thing that was a true deal breaker! The vet is very helpful and exceptionally knowledgeable and the admin staff is also great, proactive, and efficient. However, our problem was that the handling techniques are aggressive and a bit outdated (like using scruffing as the go-to restraint tactic), and the tech was unwilling to adjust them to more modern fear-free techniques when I asked, and instead told us to just use even more sedation for visits. I have a very friendly cat who usually is calm at the vet, and unfortunately this is the only vets office I have ever seen her growl and yowl at. It is a great office otherwise, but I just couldn't watch my cat go through a literal wrestling match just to have her blood drawn one more time. It was consistently upsetting for both of us. We've since moved to an office that uses different techniques and she now takes needles with no complaints again while distracted by treats and only mild body pressure restraint that was tailored to her preferences (while still keeping the tech's safety in mind of course). In sum, decide what's best for you and your cat and if they're fine here that's great, but if not please consider that it might be because of the overly aggressive, "one approach fits all" method of handling here, and that vet med has come a long way and an angry/scared cat is not the norm or your only option anymore. Like I said, it's otherwise a great place and I was really disappointed that it didn't work out for us, but you know your cat best and are their only advocate, and that comes first.

Our cat suffered from allergies since we had adopted her in 2020. We had taken her to numerous vets prior to the feline health center who treated her itching and wounds but not her allergies at the root. Once we took our cat to feline health center they were a knowledgeable, helpful, and had connections to a pharmacy that compounds medications (since our cat really wouldn’t take pills) and we finally have found a medication that is in a treat form that is helping our cats’ allergies. They worked with us to find a solution which no other vets had tried before.

I've had a variety of rescue cats over the past 20 years and have never received such expert and compassionate care for them as I do at the Feline Health Center in Morristown. Christine Ratti is a first rate feline vet. She is extremely thoughtful, explains things so clearly, makes it a point to be up-to-date on everything, is practical in her recommendations and compassionate in doing what is best for the cat. Christine will research anything she's not sure of for you. Patti and Denise, her 2 long time techs, are expert at handling cats and are almost as knowledgable about feline diseases and treatments as the vet herself. Great thought was given to the design of the facility itself and my cats are much more comfortable being treated here than in a dog and cat hospital. I wouldn't go anywhere else for feline care.

I have been a long time customer of Dr. Ratti and her team and always felt like I was a valued client until today. My kittens needed to be medicated twice today prior to my appointment which was a five hour commitment. It took me over 45 minutes to catch both of them in their carriers when I arrived 15 minutes late for my appointment was told they couldn’t take me. You really have got to be kidding me! This was a total waste of my day and my kittens were unnecessarily medicated and stressed out for a 40 minute car ride. Very unprofessional and extremely disappointing.

We have gone to Feline Health Center for years and with different cats. Dr Ratti and the staff are the most pleasant people to work with in the care of all our cats.We have always felt they were in the best care no matter what the reason we were there. Whether it was a routine checkup or a more serious matter they always took the time to make sure we understood everything we needed to know in order to make the best decision for our cats well being. We just had the difficult decision to put our precious Sheeba to rest and would not want anyone else to attend to that but them. They allowed us as much time as we needed to say our goodbye. Dr Ratti, Denise and Patti even took the time to send a hand written card offering their condolences. We can't thank them enough!
