The wine selection here is truly remarkable and lovely. However, there's this young man who assisted me recently, and, to put it mildly, he's quite... stinky. It genuinely feels like he hasn't showered in days. I've been here twice now, and both times I couldn't bring myself to make a purchase because of his overpowering odor. I hope he's not homeless. I'll steer clear of this place whenever he's around. His smell nearly made me gag.

First time at the store. Nice looking spot. Was sold into a $100 bottle of "highly recommended" whiskey from the person working there (not a name brand). Honestly, one of the worst whiskeys I've ever had. My friend and I were sick after just a small taste. What a waste.

Clean place with great international selection. Was looking at Portuguese wine and the employee who offered to help thought it was French (despite the labels) but otherwise a solid experience. Would reccomend.

I called today from Boston to purchase a particular bottle of bourbon as a gift for my brother in Madison. The guy who helped couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He stepped away long enough to confirm he had it in stock. A minute later, the transaction was complete. I think he said they'd even gift wrap. You have a happy customer. Thank you!

What a nice wine shop. I went here because I heard the owner speak at a yelp event, and he really seemed to know his stuff. I was curious if the owner's enthusiasm would translate into the in-person ordinary customer experience (ex. not meeting the owner, asking the staff questions). I was pleasantly surprised. I came in looking for the perfect wine for a risotto, which the owner(?) was nice enough to direct me to. Of note is that he didn't simply direct me to the most expensive one, but one that would actually compliment the taste of my risotto. I also through a tough question at him by asking which wine would go best with a spicy, curry-centric, West Indian meal. The owner found a solid Riesling, and explained how it would work with the spices. If you love wine stores where the owners and staff have a genuine love for wine, you will love Amanti Vino.

I ordered some rum, which they arranged to get for me. It arrived within a couple days and it was ready to go when I came in to pick it up. Quick. Friendly. Helpful.
