Needed to get my exhaust welded from the catalytic converter to the resonator. Mechanic did a fine job but the shop charged me 180. It's one weld and should be under 60 bucks for the work. The Internet says 19 to 40.
The exhaust was new. I wouldn't recommend spending your money here. Maybe their other repairs aren't priced like that.

As a non-local, this facility is worth making the drive to!
The owner, Ed, was able to address all my concerns in great detail and in a manner that a layperson without any knowledge of cars can understand. I was impressed by the extreme professionalism that he and his staff displayed when interacting with other customers.
Anthony and Vergil's skill and attention to detail is reflected in their work and I would not hesitate to leave my car in their capable hands.
Their itemized receipts show exactly how much a part or service costs, and they are flexible with adjusting the bill to suit your needs. You get the quality of work that you pay for and there is a reason why this place has a near perfect score.

GREAT SERVICE! I am not local to this shop, but found them as a close option for my unexpected battery issues. After arriving, I was told they don’t take walk-ins BUT it was my lucky day because someone was a no show. The owner was kind and friendly and educated me on my options. While waiting for my battery to be replaced, several customers came in and everyone was treated like a friend, not just a customer. I highly recommend this Mieneke shop.

In the past year I've brought my vehicle to this new Meineke a few times to support local business in town. I've had oil changes and brakes replaced. I recently had a few issues with my vehicle where I brought it to the dealership. One was for an oil leak that I was seeing in my driveway and another was for a pulsating feeling when applying the breaks which is something that was happening before I brought to this Meineke. I've brought it to the dealer in the past who stated I needed the front pads and rotors replaced. I declined that at the dealership and decided to give this local business the business. I was still having the pulsating so I brought it back to the dealership for that and for the oil leak. The dealership told me that the oil leak was due to the oil filter being put on incorrectly (which I had done at Meineke). They also said that the pulsating when breaking even after the new brakes and rotors was because only the pads were replaced not the rotors (I paid for both). They said that the rotors were still the original factory rotors and had hot spots. About $1100 later after having to get the pads/rotors replaced again and another oil change there's no more leaking oil in my driveway or pulsating when breaking.

I called and made an appointment to have my car oil and air filter checked/changed and they took me in for the first appointment on Saturday.
They took my information right on time and promptly pulled my car into a service bay.
I was in and on my way home in no time at all.
The store manager Ed, could not have been more helpful and service oriented.
I’m so glad to have had this Meineke service center on my radar and will be back for all my future auto service needs.

The previous owner of our car removed a muffler and did a poor welding job which recently broke, essentially making our GTI a straight piped public nuisance. Pep Boys doesn't weld, so they would have had to replace the entire exhaust system, another Meineke offered to replace half or send us to Jersey City. We called the West Caldwell location and were able to come in the same day and have it fixed in under an hour. The guy was extremely nice and helpful, and was able to do the job for less than half what Jersey City quoted and ONE TENTH the price of the new exhaust Pep Boys would have sold us. So far it works great again, and we will gladly bring the car back to this location the next time the previous owner's shoddy repairs fail us.
