Truly a great place for pet care. Dr. Cohen has been great throughout a very stressful and tough time when my dog suddenly got sick almost a year ago. She's been very patient and caring and helped find solutions for my Peanut's situation. She didn't give up on us after others may have, for that I truly am so grateful. The other doctors, techs and reception staff have also been so great through such a hard time. He's finally starting to get better and I now have my old silly happy energetic baby boy back!

they are absolutely the most horrible and sensitive people that I have ever come across, I've had experience with them years ago and I realize the same thing and this morning was just a prerequisite of what anybody will go through. They are absolutely horrible. They don't care it's all about the money and has nothing to do with him about the patient.

Wonderful doctors, extremely knowledgeable and caring. I've used this vet for years and I have always been very pleased. I've also used them for boarding my dog and I've always been happy with the level of care he received.

If you're looking for the best possible quality of care for your pet, you've come to the right place. We have been coming to CAH for more than a decade - and have entrusted every single one of our pets in their care. We have never once been disappointed with just how compassionate, thorough, and caring the vets here are. I'd like to especially give a shout-out to Dr. Lorig. Dr. Lorig, is just incredible. She treats our pets just like they're hers. A couple of years ago, our 16-year-old Husky-German Shepherd mix got cancer. Dr. Lorig was realistic about treatment options, compassionate, and answered every single one of our questions. Sadly, we had to consider our dog's quality of life -- which went down quickly -- and Dr. Lorig followed up with us to express her deepest condolences. She goes above and beyond, answers every single one of our questions, and our pets absolutely love her. You can tell she loves what she does, and believes in what she does as well. The front-desk staff and the vet techs are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. There have been multiple situations where I had an issue with my pharmacy fulfilling a prescription (this is a problem with the pharmacy I use) and whenever I've called CAH, someone always goes the distance to make sure we get the issue resolved. They always do their best to fit us in as early as they can, follow up with us, and are absolutely always so friendly when we come into the office. Thank you to everybody - you guys make a scary experience for a pet a comforting one for both pet and owner. Sincerely, to all of the staff at CAH, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you guys and could never imagine entrusting our pets to the care of anybody else.

Such caring staff, attentive and professional. No attitudes and I didnt feel like a number. . I took my 31 year old amazon parrot there for first time. She needed a nail trim, break trim and a wellness visit . My experience could not have been better. The vet was so very professional and very thorough. Dr. Adelsohn is the best . I definately trust her with my parrot. So hard to find experienced avian vet! Thank u!

Everyone at Community Animal Hospital is so friendly and knowledgeable about the pets in their care! They take the time to know each pet and diagnose appropriately! They always do whatever they feel is necessary for your pet! I highly recommend them!! Big shout out to Dr. Cohen and Dr. Tiedemann and all of the staff at the hospital for taking such good care of Amber when she was sick!

I can't say enough good things about Community Animal Hospital. While any of the bunny doctors we have seen there have been great, Dr. Adelsohn is absolutely amazing. Very thorough, caring, explains things perfectly, gives the pros and cons of all treatment options. In addition, the vet techs are very knowledgable and excellent in handling our bunnies. Also, anyone we've ever dealt with from the office staff has been helpful, empathetic and efficient.

The vets and techs are without exception kind, caring, patient, and knowledgeable. They have cared for my cats and dogs for years and have stood by me with the utmost compassion during the hardest parts of pet ownership. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We are truly blessed to have them as part of our community.

Honestly I don't know we're to begin! My parents cat of 15 years was sick, they took him to this animal hospital it was the WORST!! All they cared about, was the bill instead of the cats well being! Almost $2,000 with no cure or answer! Again all they cared about was the bill!! At one point they were getting annoyed because my parents would call to check on their cat to see what was happening because nobody had an answer!! One of the nurses came out and try to yell at my parents !! ( Honestly, who does that) !!! It's Extremely unprofessional and uncalled for! Enter at your own risk!!

I'm really upset. I bring my two cats and one dog here all the time and continuously purchase food for my cat here. My cat has a severe protein allergy and I bring him in every couple of months to get an allergy injection and a steroid injection. I called today to try and set up an appointment -- quick and easy as he's had this issue for a year and they give him the same injections each time. The person I spoke to was extremely unhelpful and I felt like I was bothering her! I asked if there was any way I can bring my cat in tomorrow and she said she had nothing available. She then remained quiet. I asked if I could then bring in my cat the following day. She literally just says "uh yeah honestly we're just really busy". So do you even care about my business? How about giving me an alternate day that works? She just stayed quiet. So I asked her if I can get the name of the injections my cat gets so I can go elsewhere given that they could not tell me when they would be able to see my cat. She sounded so annoyed and gave me the name of the anti-itch injection. I asked her for the name of the other one and she says "yeah I don't know it says he got another one but I can't find the name" -- well can you ask? Can you dig a little further? Can you do something?? Look. Customer service is #1. I understand you're busy and I'm not asking for anybody to squeeze me in. But as a loyal customer I expect to not be given an attitude.

I bring my chinchilla with dental problems to Dr. Adelsohn and she's amazing. She handles small animals with care and kindness, and the vet techs are also great handling the animals and nice. Dr. A does a top quality job at trimming the teeth under anesthesia, with great results. And she always explains in detail how the teeth looked/what she had to trim, which I appreciate. She knows about pain medications and medications in general for my chinchilla. She makes sure to schedule him right away after seeing he needs a trimming, despite adding to her heavy workload. She's knowledgable and kind. I really appreciate all her expertise and kindness when dealing with the stressful and heartbreaking problem of my chinchilla's dental issues/malocclusion. I don't know what I would do without her. I highly recommend her for chinchilla teeth issues and chinchilla care in general. She works hard to do a thorough, complete trimming, despite the difficulty with such a small chinchilla mouth. I went to a vet in Parsippany first, but didn't get a good feeling he knew enough to do teeth trimmings well, and he didn't handle my pet nicely, so I looked elsewhere and found Dr. A. Without question Dr. Adelsohn is the vet to see for chinchillas in this area. Putting a chinchilla under anesthesia is stressful, but she has experience with this and I trust her after having had several trimmings. My pet was very sick when he first went to her (since I didn't know the signs of malocclusion) but she brought him back to good health with teeth trimmings and pain medications to manage the pain, as well as giving tips for hand feedings with critical care since it's not always easy with a sick pet. She explained about malocclusion in a sensitive way as to not scare or further upset me, but was still realistic about its seriousness. The x-rays are expensive, but necessary when dealing with accessing dental issues, and we're lucky to have someone in this area that does it because it's common procedure with any good dental care, but not all places do it. She's just so nice to my pet and polite to me. I also like that the waiting room there is in two separate parts so that I can keep my pet away from the dogs.

Do not take your pet to this place. The staff is rude and the vets have an attitude. You cannot trust people who think they can never be wrong. All they really care about is the money, and they will sue you if you dispute a charge. There are many better vets in the area.

Look no further for an animal hospital that gives the best care and service imaginable. My 16-year old dog was sick and needed surgery. Not only did they take every precaution to make sure he was fit enough to undergo surgery, but they transformed him into a puppy again. The team of doctors and office staff explained everything clearly and really cared about all of us. It is such a family there. If you want comfort, expertise, and love, there is no better place to bring your furry family member!
