The employees of this Shoprite are rude and moody . They'll give you a dirty look if you ask them for help . How unprofessional. Find another shoprite . Plenty others in Monmouth County.

Had a bad experience at the bakery, I was talking to the man about ordering birthday cake and lady working there intervened to say they are not able to take orders without even listening. I immediately moved away and ordered cake elsewhere, looks like ShopRite days are numbered with such employees working for them

I was going to this shoprite for many years and had good experience. I never had such poor customer service as I got today with Kamila. My loaded digital coupon was not reflected. She not just didn't help to resolve an issue but wanted to see the item, which I didn't get back and forgot to ask. I had to return back to the store to get it.

They treat all their customers now who go to self check out as thiefs, very rude customer service at that check out now.
I've been going here since this store opened and never stole one item. You are going to lose your customers to Wegmans if you keep this up. Teach your employees how not to insult customers

Originally posted 4/5/23: I had a horrible experience with this Shoprite's CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER (I believe his name was Steve) today, 4/5/23, that left me shaken and never wanting to go back there again. For some context: my partner and I mistook the price signs for a fruit tray we were buying. We thought it was one price but it turned out to be another. Which was no big deal, but since we didn't originally know this, we asked the person working at self-checkout for a price check. It took some time for someone to come and do it--which again was no biggie. To expedite the process, I went back over to produce to take a picture of the price sign so I could show the employee what it said. When I got there, the price sign was suddenly gone, right near where two workers were stocking melon trays. So maybe the sign was from an old sale and the employees had just removed it, which was still not an issue. Meanwhile, while my partner was waiting back at self-checkout, he heard the CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER complain about us to another employee, saying things like, "Where'd they come up with THAT price?" It's clear from the beginning he didn't believe us about the price sign being where it was. The customer service manager finally followed my partner to produce to do the price check. Obviously the price sign we initially saw was no longer there because the produce employees had just taken it down. Sucky timing, but it happens. Even though the CSM rudely pointed this out to us, "So what, the sign just magically disappeared?", we had still planned on buying the fruit tray. The customer service manager turned to leave, and I made a private comment to my partner about how it was silly he didn't believe us. The CSM whipped around, overhearing our conversation, yelled "I'M NOT CALLING ANYBODY A LIAR," and went off on this tirade about how the price sign was never there. He got up IN MY FACE, pointing at me and screaming at me about it. He was causing a scene in his own store, and at that point, customers had stopped what they were doing to stare at us. As a young woman, I was appalled, mortified, and frankly downright fearful having this tall, angry man in a MANAGERIAL position essentially verbally harass me. After the CSM finished his rant, my partner and I went back to self-checkout to buy the fruit tray. I was shaken up for a while after all that, and I'm sad to say I will no longer be shopping at this Shoprite because of my experience. I do not want to encounter this angry customer service manager again while just trying to get my shopping done. No customer should be treated like I was by any employee, ever.

While this ShopRite is clean and spacious, I have grown frustrated with the inventory management here. If it is on sale, there is a 50% they won't have it on hand. The meat inventory is also always questionableMy last straw was today. I went looking for a pork roast and they have none because bone-in pork chops are on sale this week. And the staff at the meat counter was incredibly rude about it.I decided to see if this was a larger ShopRite problem, so I went to the ShopRite further north in 9 and to the ShopRite in Freehold. Both had it, as did the NetCost Market by Gordon's Corner Road. This location needs to seriously consider an overhaul.

Horrible customer service.Update:I haven't shopped there since this experience. To be more specific, me and another customer (both people of color) had a horrible experience at the deli section. Two women working at the deli counter basically ignored us even though we were in front of them. They decided to help another customer (a white customer) who mentioned to them that they should be helping us. They continued to ignore and do something else. A black or Hispanic employee who was working packing other things was the one who came over to help us. I should have reached out to a manager but was in a rush and decided to move on.On Facebook people have communicated that they have had poor experiences as well, which seems like management is either unaware or is looking the other way.

My go-to store for a big food shopping in the area where I can get it all. Organic is available here, Bell &Evans Chicken is available here, pasture raised eggs are available here. Whatever you want to cook as healthy meals, they have the ingredients. Parking is great. You are in and out and back home in no time. Sometimes the employees who return the carts actually offer to help you load heavy items into your car. I appreciate this store in my neighborhood.

I personally don't like any of their baked goods and most of the prepared foods don't trip my trigger. Odd shape store, you walk all the way to the end and you think you've been at the whole store accept the drugstore then when you can't find your stuff you ask somebody you find out it's way past the drug store. Part. Other stuff is okay but not the best. always busy. It's got a wide variety of foods and big selection large deli counter prepared and hot foods and hot things you can take home ribs ,chicken. Today was the first time in a long time I didn't have to wait a long time to get checked out usually even the self service check out is busy. Employees aren't too friendly but it's hard to find friendly people anymore anyplace. I think it's pretty much the same doesn't seem nearly as busy as it was before the remodel.
