I absolutely LOVE The Happy Hippo. It's such a wonderful place to bring children to pick out toys. It's been a fixture in town for decades and always brings a smile to my face when I see their sign. It's such a joy bringing my kids in to share the same happiness I had as a kid. The charm of a local business brings warmth to the community that the commercial retailers can never provide. Please show them love by making them your "Go-To Spot" for your little one's Birthdays and Holidays.Thank you Happy Hippo!

Simply amazing. They managed jam modern & vintage toys into this small space by still making it look beautiful! I went here all the time as a kid and I still visit every time I come back up to Edgewater Park.

Happy hippo is awesome. They had so much cool stuff and cool displays. The employees were awesome and helpful and George & George (store frogs) were the coolest frogs ever because of their large size. They carry a lot of unique and cool toys, including a stuffed tank that is unfortunately no longer there because I bought it. Go there if you wanna find some cool high quality stuff. Great place 10/10 will gladly go again. That rhymes too

When I was a kid in the 1980s, I saved up enough 50 cent penny rolls to buy a a toy here. Even though I had enough pennies to buy the toy, the cashier told me, a little kid, that they don't accept pennies. I was not a "Happy Hippo" that day :(.

Like walking thru our past. Lots of old time tows plus new ones. The owners are there to compare stories of old toys and provide insight on the new ones. Prices are very reasonable. Fun time

Love having a neighborhood toy store. My kids love it. Unfortunately some of the toys are not the best quality and break pretty quick. Great for stuffed animals though.

Took my 5yr old here today since he wanted to go to a " real Toy Store" the owners were extremely nice and friendly. I remember coming here as a child and loving it and it's still just as amazing! i love the variety and that there's a lot of 10$ & under items so anyone can shop here. Plus i got to support a small buisness.
