I'm very happy with the care my two giant breed dogs receive at Burl-Moor-Driben. We switched from a different vet clinic, and it was the best decision. Their knowledge, care, and attentiveness are unmatched in the area. Dr. Worhach and her colleagues are wonderful!

This place needs to be investigated and shut down! Staff is unfriendly. Entire staff is Inattentive and ignorant- Not one person can look you in the eye.Dr. did not acknowledge my puppy, greet her at all or have one warm emotion when dealing with her. She walked in and man handled her as she administers a cream into her eyeball, a thermometer in her rectum, and a needle in her, AWFUL!!!-DR. Megan Souders should be restricted from practice. She did not ask or inform me before she administered high risk meds and did not inform me of any risks before prescribing. She had zero compassion for my pet and made me feel absolutely uncomfortable. She spoke to me like I was an imbecile and actually rolled her eyeballs when I expressed my concern and distaste for the medication she prescribed that almost killed my dog! Didn’t even care just went to prescribe me another version of something I was adamantly trying to explain I wanted no parts of! I walked in with a happy, healthy, vibrant puppy that I purchased from a well respected breeder. She is a champion bred English lab who came with papers and AKC clean bill of health and now I have spent two weeks trying to salvage my dogs life. All thanks to the negligence of Dr. Souders. First visit was for her second round of DHPP. The vet gave her the vac, and sent me home with a packet and told me to give it to her in two days. Jemma was fine after the shots. I forgot about the packet and didn’t end up giving her it until about a week and a half later.Within an hour my puppy was not right. She began to pantheavy and became extremely skittish. Then lethargic.I looked it up online to see what side effects are normal. Horrified is an understatement. The drug is Simparica Trio. This is a drug that combines flea and tick treatment and heart all in one. It uses a drug Isoxazoline. Go ahead and research that. Then she wouldn’t wake up. I was screaming at her and nothing, tried to shake her awake and her limp body just hung. She came around but still today- I’m dealing with a different dog. So, here I am walking into my second visit and very eager to discuss what happened. The nurse went over what they were giving and I immediately stated I do not want that again and tried to explain what happened but there was no attention given just the vet will be in and you can discuss it. Okay fine. When the doc came I began to explain what had happened. She didn’t care just started to list a bunch of other pharmaceuticals that I already said I wasn’t interested in. I told her I was going to use a flea collar instead of anything she has to ingest or have injected. She clearly was not happy and rolled her eyes at me, told me with an attitude I have to be careful she doesn’t choke on the collar. That it doesn’t last long. Wish she had that same concern for the actual dangerous one she prescribed that’s killed 6700 dogs! I was there to have my pups eye looked at too bc she has a swollen bump and red. I was very concerned. She aggressively determinedshe didn’t have a scratch on her eye and prescribed meds. So I am thinking I am just getting the 3rd shots but they gave her a limes vac too.THEY DID NOT ASK ME IF I WANTED IT. I clearly said I didn’t want anything that treats flea and ticks and my puppy was still experiencing a reaction.Once again my Jemma is having lethargy, and acting off. She has explosive diarrhea that I can’t get rid of. The explanation of this vac is MIND BLOWING. It states that it has not yet been proven that it actually prevents limes. In fact- all they can prove is that it aggravates it. The biggest thing here is WHY did she give Jemma this shot after knowing she is experiencing side effects. WHY did she give her the limes vaccine at this time which has a PRO INFLAMMATORY in it when she is being treated for an inflamed eye.Why wasn’t I asked if I wanted to give her this? Why wasn’t any risks explained? I still don’t know what is wrong with my puppy. I paid $500 over two visits for them to cause her life changing complications.

We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our 17 yr. old cat down this week. Dr. Souders was calm, compassionate, & reassuring. The professionalism and empathy that she and her tech showed us during this devastating time, helped us immeasurably. Dr. Souders is not only a cat whisperer, she’s a people whisperer as well, and I can’t recommend her enough.

I've used Burl-Moor Dribben for over 25 years, and all the doctors, vet techs and office personnel have been wonderful. You can see that they really care about your pet and you.

I would be careful about selecting this practice. We did seven years ago based on reviews on social media and various community groups. Everything was going okay with the practice until recently. Over time, it seemed that there was a lot of turn over in their doctors. It felt like we were never seeing the preferred doctors, but fill in’s. The receptionist staff has always been warm and kind, but our experience with office management has been quite different. I’ve requested several times to speak to ownership, however, I am always relayed back to the management officer Jenn. I would be cautious using this practice. I trusted their judgement for years, felt confident in their approach, and then one day was told to come back because it was an emergency. Of course I readily did whatever they suggested and asked. The demeanor of the part time doctor was off putting. When leaving the facility on a Friday evening, the wrong dogs name was placed on the $700 visit. They assured me it was a typo, but still? I was worried. The whole visit didn’t sit well with me. I had to call back for two weeks with no response to identify the urgency of an ultrasound. The practice seemed disorganized. We are leaving this practice on “bad terms”- which is quite upsetting. We lost a dog with this practice, have never hesitated once in doing and paying for anything they recommended. Our first instance of discord went from us being upset to what happened to full on attack and defensiveness. It feels horrible. I hate saying this- this is a money making office. It was not always like this. It is not a family run business. Super sad and horrible experience.

Only been going here 3 years…had a 5 star back then. Dr driven sr amazing caring. It has changed so quickly. Do not trust anymore. Would not refill a prescription for my 15 plus age cat unless an office visit. Take the cat and refused to give a script…Jeanine Williams…unless for a gamut of blood tests exray…told my husband if gets worse take her to the hospital. Our cat was doing very well on the every other day meds.

Wonderful, caring staff. Dr. Sauder has been terrific for the care of our beagle and golden retriever. Her compassion when we had to make the difficult choice to say goodbye was above and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about her.

They told us to get there at 8am so they could sedate our cat before her appointment. They didn't see her until 9:45, with no communication as to what the delay was. It's just absolutely unprofessional and appalling for a place that's supposed to be taking care of your pets. Our poor cat was stuck in her crate for 90 extra minutes because of this.

We do not live close to Burl Moor Driben Animal Hospital but without hesitation we would drive our pug 40 minutes each way so that he could receive their outstanding care. Having tried a couple of vets that were more local to us for ease, we quickly returned to BMD as none of them came close to their level of service or knowledge. Over our dog’s 13 1/2 years of life, they diagnosed and treated him for a variety of ailments giving him an amazing quality of life and our family many full years with him. When he recently passed, Dr. Charles Driben took the time to call and send a handwritten note offering condolences, wisdom, and most importantly sincere comfort. When the time is right and we welcome a new pet into our family, we will absolutely return to Burl Moor Driben.

One of the best vets I've ever been to! My cat hadn't been eating and they were able to see her the morning after I called. Dr. Souders is extremely helpful and sweet. She keeps coming up with a plan to help my cat get better and is doing everything she can. She was also good at keeping me and my husband calm while our kitty was taken back for some tests and while sharing the test results. You can tell that she and all of the staff really care about the animals and also the owners. I love that they have a kitty corner in the waiting room and offer a blanket for over the carrier, that has calming oils on it. Mac and Cheese, (the vet's cats) are awesome emotional support and I love that they wander around looking for anyone who needs some loving. I highly recommend this vet and will definitely be back!

I had called the office last Monday because our dog became very very lethargic & wouldn't eat anything. The receptionist answers & I explain the situation and she hits me with 'hmm, well we could get him in on May 12th...' I immediately asked if there was anything day of or even the next day that we could be seen & she said that i would have to call between 8 & 8:30 am every day to fight for a 'sick appointment'. What a joke. MAY 12th? When someone calls and says that their dog stopped eating and isn't moving, they can't wait 3+ weeks to be seen by a vet. On top of that, she asked if we would be giving our dog his sedatives (that this vet prescribed because he hid under the chair when we are there for checkups, no other vet recommended sedatives FYI). Seriously? I don't think a sedative is going to be needed for a dog that is basically on his death bed. There was no compassion at all in this woman's voice when she knew we had an emergency situation on hand.Long story short, this vet does not care about the well being of your pets. We ended up taking our dog to another vet (who basically said we needed to come in as soon as possible once i told them his symptoms). He ended up having pneumonia. & not just pneumonia, but was only a few hours away from being admitted to an emergency hospital and kept on an IV to keep him alive. We are so lucky that we used our gut instinct and didn't wait on taking him elsewhere or this could have ended very badly. Will never recommend this vet to anyone again. Do better.
