“In a time where the world is consumed by entitlement and all many of self, today I was surprised by the very definition of loving your neighbor.
I originally made a reservation for a rental truck from Penske, giving me a location pick-up at Fairmount Car and Truck Rentals. I was assisted by Patrick, a young man who embodies the very definition of customer service.
The original truck size that I requested had not arrived on time from a different location. Patrick worked to give me options for other vehicles that would fit my needs at no additional charge. He is very meticulous in his work, explained the rental process (which ultimately ended up being with Fairmount directly instead of Penske), and worked to overcome the inconvenience I faced, which was not in his hands to begin with.
From pick-up to drop-off, the experience was stress-free and easy to understand, in addition to being time efficient.
I dare say this is a family-owned business with a level of customer service that larger companies should strive for.
If you need a rental vehicle to move from an apartment, home, or business, do see Patrick at Fairmount. Where going to extra mile is part of the overall experience!”

“I was on a school bus in Manhattan and we were in heavy trafic, and i was so bored, so I motioned to the edge truck diver to honk and he did. Then we started playing rock paper siccors and he did but then he chose shoot and started finger shooting and I pretend to be shot, then he did it again. Then I chose shoot and he pretend to get shot and then he fell on his steering wheel pretending to be dead and his horn went off because his head fell on it. Then we played rock paper siccors normally. He is a skinny white male with a beard and wearing a cap (he might have been tall, idk) please give this man a raise he deserves it. Made my day. Best driver I ever met.”

It was a stress free experience and that's not always the case when renting a car for a day trip. The car that I received was exactly what I expected and everything worked fine. “It's a tiny office hole in the wall inside a auto repair shop but I was served quickly and was driving out in the rental van within 20 minutes. The guy was very nice, informative and to the point. Getting in and out of that tight place with the van was not easy but manageable. Return of the vehicle was smooth and pain free. My only negative feedback was the position of the fuel gage jumping from half tank to a quarter tank within driving one block from the place. Turn on the vehicle and wait for the fuel tank level to settle before driving out. Good place to rent moving vehicles. I recommend this place.”

“Smooth and easy pick up.. the owner took my information hooked the motorcycle trailer up securely and away I went.. had the trailer for the entire motorcycle week event with no issues trailer held up and the owner was a call away if I needed any help.. had a long trip back so I had a later drop off which wasn’t an issue with this location just a bit of communication went a long way.. I highly recommend this location for all u-haul rental needs more than 5* service”

“Sam and Francia are very helpful and friendly folks! :) They both totally kept their cool while dealing with an internet issue in the store and were super adaptable finding ways to continue efficiently helping customers from their phones and iPads. I was so impressed with their patience, transparency, and determination to really help out and explain everything when sorting out an error with the rental return during all that too! :)
(Sam also made my day by answering the phone with his “you got the bucks, we got the trucks” slogan that U-haul should absolutely pay him to trademark. A little humor can really save the day after navigating a whole moving process :) )”
