Always love coming here for perennials. Prices are average, not a wide variety of items inside. Staff is friendly and helpful, except for one older gentleman with a long grey beard who can make unsolicited compliments. I'm sure he means well but it is not appropriate.

I am the grandson of the old owner that used to have the business up and running very well. My grandfather put all his pride and his life into that business for years and it was very painful to notice the comments on google maps when I went to go look at how it was doing. I used to always want to help my grandfather when I went to the garden center but my grandma always told me I can't see him because he was working and that was an everyday thing. He always used to work so hard and for me to see the business he worked and strived so hard for go down in flames like this and to see all these sad reviews pains me. I just want everyone to know (THERE ARE NO MORE CONDURSOS THERE ANYMORE.) and that place is dragging the name through the mud and back.

Today we went and sadly we found it very run down. I didn't see anything that motivated me. Like a flower arrangement but it was basic. The interior has been changed for the worse. it is not like before.

They used to be my go-to place for vegetable plants. It has been getting sadder and sadder over the years. This year is the final straw. The quality of the plants are terrible. 90% of the plants died and/or did not bloom! From now on I will be buying my veggie plants from Home Depot, Montville!

Good selection of shrubs, trees, junipers, and annuals. Vintage atmosphere. Seems like AVG prices for the area, which is on the expensive side (everywhere), but there may be some value in some of the larger trees and junipers. They sell a $500 wheelbarrow. Staff seems pretty cool.

I agree - this place has some really bad people representing them at their front desk. I have had and personally seen some pretty bad customer service - although I will say at the same time had good customer service by the guys working the yards. Too bad it seems I have seen more negative than positive lately. To Dianna N. who said "Maybe it's due to the area and the sort of spoiled customer...". LOL. Do you happen to work there? Do you get paid to troll ? Or are you not simply able to understand while you have had good experience there, others were not so lucky? Too bad you can't give a review without chucking insults - it really reduces your creditability.

Ripped me off. Ordered 6 bags of black cedar mulch. Got home, started mulching, when i opened the 4th bag it looked different - turns out they gave me 3 bags of black and 3 of dark brown. Not a huge mistake as packaging was identical and dark brown looks much like black. However, when I went to return the dark brown, they would only refund me for 2 out of the 3. The incompetent girl behind the counter said "sorry, we are a small business and cannot accept any open items" to which i asked "even when you are the ones who made the mistake?" I am a small business owner too and i would never treat my customers like this especially if it were my fault. Not a big deal as it was jut like $11 or so, but it is the principle of it. Also, customer in front of me complained that his propane tank did not feel full, and when same nitwit behind the counter felt it, she said "feels kind of full to me ... at least maybe 3/4 full". She refused to help him, and the guy was pretty disgusted and set off to find someone to top it off. Will no longer do business at a place where it seems acceptable to rip your customers off.

A great place with quality plants and flowers. The customer service is also really good and everyone is polite and very knowledgeable. Would recommend this garden center to anyone that visits the area.

Pretty great location to purchase a Christmas tree. First step is to hunt for a tree, claim it, pay for it, then drive your car up to load it and take it back to your house. Straightforward and efficient!

Went there for a propane fill. I was happy with my visit. They also have a ton of garden stuff and a little candy shop too! Support local! There are many items here that you can choose over a big box like home depot.
