“Well.. its been 2yrs since my detail from The Automat. I didn't get to write a review, then totally forgot about it. As I was washing my car today, I couldn't help think about how good of a job they did. I have a 08' VW Jetta, Salsa Red. I was looking to get a complete detail, paint restored and everything. At the time, the red was dull and swirled up pretty bad. I dropped the car off, they gave me a loner which was nice since I didn't live near by. When I picked up the car it looked great, but to be honest I thought it could of been a little better. At the time, I was just expecting the paint to look brand-new again but the car was 14yrs old so not sure why I was thinking that. All my friends noticed the difference and how shiny and reflective, deep, like a mirror the car looked now. I was only looking at scratches and they couldn't get all of them fixed, but 90% were. So I was probably expecting too much for 14yr old paint, that's why I didn't ever write the review. As I learned more of the process and how paint is on cars and talking with other detailers that I know, The Automat did a really, really good job. I feel bad I didn't write this earlier. I had the car done in 2021, and it still looks just as good the day I picked it up from them.In the 2 pics below the water drops stayed over a week in my garage just like that. “I have been to so many car washes and never have I been this happy! This is now the only car wash I trust to clean my car thoroughly. They were so busy today but that didn’t stop them from taking their time. The employees did not rush my car at all. They are all extremely friendly, and the guy at the front always smiles and waves when I get there. They do a great job and the prices are very reasonable. The employees are very hardworking and there is a good amount of them which is great! Some places only have a few workers. Major League Auto Spa is by far the best car wash!”
“John and his team did an excellent job detailing my 2004 Jeep Cherokee that had been sitting for a long time and it needed a total makeover inside and out. The Jeep looks like new. I highly recommend John and his team at Auto Masseuse.”

Been going here for years.
It's been hit or miss though.
Asked the gentlemen that took my payment if I needed to turn over auto wipers, etc and he checked the windshield by spraying water and nothing happened so sent it through. 1 minute into the wash the wipers were going crazy as the car vehicle was being hit by the cleaner arms. The mirrors bent forward as well (should have told me to turn them in or perhaps he should have done it? I don't know as I don't do that for a living. BTW, a very expensive brand new 2024 Acura. Pretty sure I had an anxiety attack during my wash as there was nothing I could do at that point.
Not thrilled with the situation at all but got out and and turned the mirrors back afterwards and everything seemed ok but the driverside mirror shakes a bit when on the highway now ...vehicle has 5k mikes on it. This obviously could have been avoided 100% though!
Staff is always pleasant (and i always tip the crew)and the car gets washed pretty good but additonally I did pay for the ultimate wash (or whatever the top tier wash is called) and the automatic tire shine thing did not work at all. Also the Luminera wax light tthing never came on so I'm not sure if that even happened?
I'm a car guy so I obviously went home and properly added tire shine (chemical guys, great product and lasts for at least 2 weeks) and finished cleaning the vehicle. Kind of defeats the purpose of going to the car wash, imo.
Honestly, I'm hesitant about returning. You have to have specific protocol for the staff to follow or things like these happen.”
“I bought a Groupon for an outside hand car wash but to my surprise the place doesn’t take Groupons anymore for over 3 years, what really amazed me is Groupon still have it as available. I paid then for the regular basic car wash and the guys did a great job even with the freezing temperatures 1-21-24.”
“I was recommended this place by a friend and my experience here was amazing. Tony and his team absolutely killed it. I was looking for a detailing for my car and called to inquire. Tony told me I could come right away because they had an opening and so I did. They offer a mini detailing which let me tell you is far from mini. All in all it took about an hour and I waited for it. Tony would come in to give me updates. They absolutely nailed it. My car is pristine! I have a 90lb golden retriever but you wouldn’t even guess because there wasn’t even a single dog hair left in the car. 10/10 and highly recommended!”
“It's reasonably priced for the value. The monthly plan is solid. I appreciate the automated cleaning process—it's efficient. The human cleaners are thorough and speedy. Plus, the service is friendly. They have personal vacuums at a good price too, $1 for 4 minutes. I wouldn’t anything past the Gold package, having gotten the higher packages (it’s not worth it). Overall, they deliver a decent job.”
“Purchased the VIP service for my Honda Pilot after my son brought it to the Giants game and him and his friends had snacks all over the back seat and spills were on the carpet.
I mentioned this to the attendants and they took care of cleaning everything up !

“Saturday 1:30 PM I went to Groupon uploaded the coupon and used it. I upgraded from gold to platinum so happy I did stayed in the car. They washed and polished every inch of the car from front to back and I believe the undercarriage to my upgrading to platinum I got the tire shine and the four cleaners outside where they busy as a bee cleaning the car up just terrific it is no problem no hassle Joe, the owner was as friendly as ever 38 years in the business, and worth every penny. I will definitely come back again thank you.”
“I have been coming to Riverdale Car Wash for several years now. I get the VIP (indoor and outdoor cleaning) and it is the best value for the service! My car feels detailed every time I get a wash. They are the best around!”

“the manager reached out and made this situation right....so I'm giving them another try. She was great to work with.
Do not use this car wash......they overbill you.
I asked for the exterior only monthly plan for $21 and was billed twice that amount two months in a row.
When i called to talk to manager, the lady who answered the phone took my info but told me she had "no idea when I would get a call back" really??
She was nasty and rude and told me to go ahead and dispute the charge with my cc co, which i have already done...
Why would anyone go here?

“Had my truck detailed in and out. Kyle did a great job! He even cleaned the glue that was leftover by inspection station when I got a new inspection sticker. I had scrapped the side of truck bed on garage frame and couldn’t remove it, but he did remove it!Highly recommended!”
“This is by far the best car wash in this part of New Jersey. I live in Tewksbury and drive 30 minutes to get my car washed here. Aside from the fact that the car wash itself does a fantastic job cleaning your car, the people who dry your car do a meticulous job and spend as much time as needed to ensure that it is completely dry. This is a well run operation with a strong focus on quality and customer service.”

“Really like the wash. The only 2 inconsistencies I have is the initial reception (when first entering carwash). Sometimes they power wash both sides of vehicle, other times just the driver's side only. Also, when wiping down car, sometimes they'll do wheels, other times not.”

“LOVE the place, best wash in Town. Purchase Club wash a year ago, love it, can go anytime I like. Now My wife got a ne Cadillac and got one for her also, best $40 I spend each month. She hates to go to wash her car, no in pass week she went 3 times, she loves the part not waiting and getting out of the car. Try it, its Okay that they dont vacuum, if I need that I do it my self or use another wash, also safeing money.”

“I’m a local realtor so I basically live out of my car. They didn’t read job cleaning my interior and exterior windows, Great thank you. There’s a restroom inside while you’re waiting you get to watch your car being washed. They have a few snacks inside car wash cleaning supplies and air fresheners. They even decorated for the holiday with the nice tree. It was actually very busy for a Friday afternoon I thought. It’s an excellent location and they have a lot of people washing the interior and vacuuming. This place is a well oiled machine. Highly recommend this car wash. My girlfriend gets her car detailed here all the time. I just need to set some time aside to do so myself. It’s right on route 10 W. so you can’t miss it”
