Beautiful place that gives to the community, prior to COVID...I used to drop in for the community classes(no minimum donation). This is not run like a business....very community oriented and safe place to practice yoga. I am a male that practices yoga when I feel I need it, and this is my go to spot. As a male I never feel out of place or awkward here. Very welcoming people. Many yoga studios I’ve attended are female dominated and some even try to push men out...this place is not biased at all, also a good place that preserves yoga culture and tradition. I am of Indian descent and am all for cultural appropriation, but prefer going to a yoga studio that offers the feel of a Hindu/Buddhist yoga practice. This place has a good feel to it..been going here on and off for many years...if I want a yoga class, I come here.

Life has thrown us a curve ball, but we cannot let it strike us out! Thank you Princeton Yoga for offering alternative style classes, meaning Zoom classes during these days of Sheltering In due to COVID. The other day, I took a Zoom class with Dan and it was great! It's difficult to teach these classes when spouses, children, pets are all home with you. Dan had some background challenges during class that did not interfere. If anything, these background noises actually helped me work on being present with myself in my practice more than I normally am. Great for mindfulness. I enjoyed the class and look forward to taking more. May you all stay safe and healthy. Namaste! Susan

If you are looking for a yoga studio in the Princeton, NJ area, look no further than PCYH. The studio is located in a beautiful setting, with plenty of up-close parking. Outside, you can meander through a large labyrinth, or sit quietly on the patio. Melodious chimes hang in the trees and are soothing sounds inside the studio when the wind blows. The two yoga studios and the meditation room are light filled, inviting and spacious. Classes are offered morning, noon and night, seven days a week. You can choose from a variety of styles of yoga. Many teachers have been dedicated to PCYH for decades, and the newer instructors and substitutes are excellent. No matter which class you choose, you will be encouraged to listen to your own body even as you are guided to carefully stretch and grow past your current limits. Workshop and class schedules are up-dated daily online, where you can sign up in advance if you prefer. There are community classes offered once a day on the weekdays, for a $5 donation, proceeds of which go to area organizations in need. The volunteer staff is friendly and helpful. Go, give it a try and enjoy!

I’ve been going somewhat regularly to the 5RHYTHMS offered by Megan and Rebekah for nearly a year now. I enjoy the beautiful floor, clean bathrooms and kind faces dancing away beside me. Thanks for bringing it back to a monthly rotation— it’s been a healing and cathartic experience thus far.

A beautiful healing space. PCYH is not merely a Yoga Studio, but a retreat, a sanctuary, and a restorative haven of bliss. From the incredible location, to the gorgeous labyrinth ( which I had the unique and wonderful opportunity to walk with my daughter on New Year's Day), and the gifted staff, manager, and volunteers. It is clear that everything about PCYH is evidence of the heart and soul that created this space as a mission of authenticity and love.

Beautiful building and location but I ended up with a back injury after taking a poorly structured "beginner" yoga class here. I am a certified fitness instructor not a couch potato who tried to do too much after years of inactivity. I went to a chiropractor recommended by the studio that turned out to be so bad, after several sessions, I could not walk. Now, I am under the care of a grest chiropractor but I can no longer teach fitness classes because of the back injury caused by the yoga class. I would never recommend taking classes here.

The yoga classes here are very good. If you are a beginner, I recommend Tiffany. She is an outstanding teacher.

This center truly is a sanctuary and I am grateful to have it so close to home. The positive energy radiates from every corner of the beautiful facility, the gorgeous grounds and the exceptional instructors. I am fortunate to have attended yoga workshops and yoga retreats, and the feeling I have when I leave PCYH is a higher level of serenity and balance I have traveled far and wide to attain. PCYH is a gift to give yourself, to take time out of your day to rejuvenate, unplug, and reset.
