This is what I shared with my friends! *OMG! Totally forgot to share this AWESOME experience I had in Hopewell, NJ last week. As some might already know I had no luck getting an appointment with the stylist I had used here in Foley. So if I went as I was, figured a bun will just have to do. Well as I was cruising around Hopewell exploring the area - I arrived early and had time before check in- I saw this Salon «La Meche» right down the street on Princeton Rd. I figure just go in and ask. Probably a long shoot, but wouldn’t hurt to ask, right?! The ladies - and I mean LADIES- were all so beautiful and lovely and …… I got an appointment for the next day with this amazing stylist Usha. I have had my share of experience over the years and she was in a class herself. Usha is someone who knows her craft very well. How lucky was I finding such a skilled stylist on a moment’s notice?! I couldn’t have been in better hands. Thank You Usha! Getting my hair done by a true professional was a very special treat and made my stay even more perfect! ?La Meche Salon Edit to add: I know it doesn’t seem like much and it’s hard to explain. My hair felt so good! Not because of any styling products- none were used- I haven’t used anything other than a vegan baby wash to clean my hair in over 15 years. It was all the haircut! Even without additional styling products I can tell/ feel how well my hair has been cut when I run my fingers through it. Even now after almost a week and a couple of washes it falls right into place. Kinda hard to explain ? Let Usha take care of you and you will understand ?

Darek from La Meche has been cutting my hair for nearly 20 years. I know Darek to be a perfectionist. My haircut is always terrific. Within the last 15 years my wife and our children also go to La Meche. Our haircuts, and the overall experince is nothing less than first class. Through the years we have known Darek and Joanna well. Their hard work, attention to detail and dedication shows with every visit.

wow!!! joanna + darek have outdone themselves with their new location...it is so modern, peaceful and relaxing...in many way it reflects the salon itself...our family have been clients for 15 years...all five of see either joanna or darek and we love them...they are talented, highly skilled and really have a european sophistication, both personally and professionally....they LISTEN very carefully but are also not afraid to tell a client what they think will be most flattering or best for their hair...they are highly knowledgable about all things hair related...I would challenge anyone to find a better experience in nyc or any city for that matter...I highly recommend, and when you call you may get Terry, a busy stylist herself, who often does double duty at front desk...I cannot count the number of times she's done absolute cartwheels to accomodate our schedules all with professionalism and warmth...

I have been so thankful for JoAnna and La Meche for many years. They have seen me thru all of my crazy hair moments. Always so concerned about what will be the best cut, product and color procedure. Always so accommodating with my crazy schedule. But really at the heart of the business you will never find anyone who works harder than JoAnna. Her professionalism and work ethic are at the top! She will see you all the way through to what will be the best hair care for you and you individual needs. She has a genuine care and concern for her clients. Quite simply! The salon is in a new location in a completely renovated beautiful building. It is easy to get to with parking right in front. The decor is clean, modern and bright. Joanna is excellent at hair color and gives a great cut and blow dry that really lasts. Definitely my favorite salon all around!Services: Hair coloring
