Our family recently purchased a house with no window coverings. After a few failed attempts with other companies, we happened to run into Ryan while buying paint. He was very knowledgeable and came out that week to look at our windows and do preliminary measurements. Once the window coverings came in, the installation was scheduled quick and Vic was great while doing the install. Ryan and Vic were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone needing help.

incredible customer service that you wouldn't expect these days and I only buy paint through them. Everyone there is extremely helpful, offer great suggestions and seemingly always in a positive mood...yes, it's only paint, but we all know there are 1000 whites and some helpful tips and great customer service goes a long way!

I have worked with Ryan (and Vic) several times over the course of a few years while renovating our window treatments. Their commitment to customer service is unmatched, and their level of communication, knowledge, transparency and follow up is the best you will find. Ryan was patient with me and took the time to ensure I got the product I wanted while staying within budget every time. He even talked me out of a more expensive product that would not have worked as well with my window type. He truly cares about his customer’s satisfaction. Thanks for all the hard work Ryan!

Can't say enough good things about Red Star! We've used them for paint as well as for window dressings, and they're always SO knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Ryan held our hands through picking out shades for all the windows in our downstairs. He steered us on style, functionality, everything. He was so great about setting up the install and communicating throughout. He even filled out the rebate form we had and sent it in for us! You can't go wrong with this shop.

I visited Red Star Paint for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was interested in repairing a broken slat on a relatively new Hunter Douglas window treatment (not purchased at Red Star). Ryan was super helpful, so much so that he has managed to get Hunter Douglas to replace the entire window treatment at no charge to me. Incredible customer service, and I'll take all future paint/decorating business to Ryan from here on. Thank you!

I don’t really leave much feedback from places that I shop but this shop is built different. I visited this place for the first time today and I was blown away as to how friendly and knowledgeable these guys are! I’m a research freak so I thought I knew the right kind of paint and shade that I would need. It’s safe to say that I was dead wrong. These guys are professionals. Each one of them took the time to speak with me and educate me on the best paint and application type that I need for my project.Not only were they right about the paint, but they also helped me save a ton of money too!I will be going back for future projects.

Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Got the contractor discount without asking. So much better than the upper Montclair hardware store that I used from time to time to purchase this brand of paint.
