If I could give less than a one star I would. I went to get a sandwich for my grandkids. I just finished paying when the loud speaker said they had no spuds. I told the cashier to refund it and was told he couldn’t and I had to come back in the morning. So then I went to get the sandwich and said they could replace it with fries which I really didn’t want. Then after another 5 minutes I was told they didn’t have the cheese so at that point I told them to forget everything. I asked the cashier how to get in touch with a manager and was again told I had to come back tomorrow. So now I have to drive several miles tomorrow to get my 20 dollars back!!!

On 5/24/24 at 1:37 pm I order a smoothie 15 mins later I received my smoothie( if that's what you want to call it). The manager allowed a rookie whom just started, to make the smoothie without any sense of direction. He used the wrong size mixing cup and the wrong amount for the blender cup. As a result the smoothie was the worst. The manager and another worker asked why did he send a rookie to make the smoothie without giving any sense of direction the other worker stated that he was tired of making smoothies and send the rookie over to fail. This was a poor reflection on this store. I really hope this situation is resolved.

Why is this the only store that does so much volume in cash and credit but when you try to cash out a scratch off card they always ask how much is it for? You have the money in your till so why do you care how much it is? If it was a high amount people would get a claim from. Stop being cheap and just pay or remove the lottery from your location.

Eight pots of cold coffee at 9pm. (not hot, not warm, but cold.) Am I the only one who wants hot coffee from a 24 hour store at night?2 stars instead of 1 because they offered to make a fresh pot. Thanks, but I had an Uber driver waiting for me, couldn't wait for it.Isn't the store called QUICK Chek? Could yiu have ONE hot pot of coffee ready? And how about removing the pots when they're cold?Oh, and watch out you don't park in the marked resident parking spaces in the same lot.

They literally never have enough staff. You will be waiting to check out even if you're the only one there. They also NEVER have slashes. Its summer time. It's QuickCheck. That's ridiculous. Don't why I don't just go straight to the one on Broad St. In Bloomfield.

You get what you pay for so if you have that mind set, this store on Valley Road has plentiful parking for the quick in and out; and convenience would be 5 out of 5 stars compared to other places in Montclair. The self serve coffee isn’t as caffeinated as Starbucks but for two dollars , it’s 2 coffees for the price of one which helps in the current environment. Plus there reward program is a 5 out 5. There is no disagreement that the store could be cleaner and selection could be more updated but it’s still light years ahead of a gas station convenience store. The new sandwich maker is on point after many failures in the past. So that’s 4 out of 5 stars for the first time.

Decent store flpretty sure their Coke Zero was Diet Coke in the fountain though!
