The movers were great. The owner however is not. The estimate he gave meant nothing. It does not include travel, gas, any supplies-- nothing !!!! And they charge you for the drive TO your starting location ! We ended up paying $500 MORE than his BS estimate. Once we got our final cost, we had a much cheaper rate that included EVERYTHING from two other companies. This guy is a rip off. He nickels and dimes for literally everything. Do yourself a favor and do not use him. His service was a huge disappointment on moving day for us. The movers were very nice and relatively quick. But they did take a longer route to the new location. I left with them and it took me 30 mins less-- I refused to pay their BS amount for that. Also-- they came from Angie's list-- so stay away from that too!!! Terrible. Find anyone else!!!

I hired them last week to do my move and they came 3 hours late and doubled the price. They also broke my china cabinet glass doors and won’t return my calls. Beware of this company. Seriously a waste of time and money. So unprofessional, never hiring again.

Broke some of my glass even when I clearly labeled my things. Extremely late and super unprofessional. Not only did they charge me more than agreed upon they also will have not reached back out to me after several calls and voicemails I have left.

Some of my things were damaged after hiring this company!! They were very unprofessional & I do not recommend trusting them with any move at all! Poor Service for sure !!!! NEVER AGAIN.

Montclair Moving Systems were responsive from the beginning quote all the way through the move. Competitive pricing, professional staff, kept me up to date from the start to the finish. The movers were very quick and careful with all my items. I moved into a brand new construction home and they were careful to wear covers over their shoes and lay down mats on the carpet on a bit of a wet day. Would definitely recommend Tower Moving Systems for anyone needing movers.

Awesome movers! Were very flexible when working with my building rigid hours for the loading bay. Because I had a small apartment they did not assign a large team and a huge truck like other companies I've used which really helped with the cost. The movers were very professional and wrapped up and used blankets for all large items I couldn't box. They were extremely nice and worked very quickly. Would strongly recommend Montclair Movers Systems!

The BEST movers I have ever used. Polite, careful, considerate, and efficient. They moved quite a bit of furniture and paintings for me, including a large number of antiques. They were accommodating at every moment, and weren't the least bit bothered when I would tell them to move it a quarter inch to the left, and then change my mind and have them move it back. Reasonably priced, as well. OUTSTANDING!

I had to move last minute due to a sudden change in my career and needed a mover ASAP. I first almost went with Montclair Movers Systems who ended up cancelling my move the day before they were supposed to arrive. I called Montclair Movers and they sent someone to pick up my items the same day. They accommodated my last minute needs, but the movers were so friendly and professional. Montclair Moving Systems and crew loaded up our house and moved us professionally. In moves like these you expect something to go wrong and chalk it up to random accidents. Not so this time. I was impressed at how the movers brought everything out of our home without a hitch. They were patient, responsive and easy to work with. I had a great experience working with Montclair Movers. I had a quick turn, small job that I needed help with and they not only did whatever they could to accommodate the job, but did so with professionalism and speed. They were responsive, accommodating, flexible and communicative throughout the entire process. I would definitely work with them again in the future.

I have been using Montclair Movers since 2018 for several moves including a triple move from my old residence, to storage, and to my new home. Years later to remove remove from that same storage.The owner Elijah from the very beginning was very very detailed, professional, knowledgeable and compassionate about what I needed for my moves.I plan on using them many more times and also referred Montclair Movers. My Son used them and also was very pleased. The most recent move was done June 2022. They are reasonably priced and take care of your furniture. I would highly recommend them. D. Curtis

My family and I moved out of a one bedroom apartment into a single family home recently. The work was fairly priced, prompt, and we were well advised prior to the actual move, of our expectations. If you plan your move clearly, you should get what's expected and Elijah and his crew can help you get to that point. I will consider using Montclair Movers again if a move is being planned in the future.
