If you like the idea of owning unique one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry, that by nature nobody else has, this is the place for you. Pieces ranging from simple earings to complex necklaces, brooches, and perhaps even a chatelaine if you're lucky. Pieces range in material choice from higher value precious jewelry stalwarts such as silver, gold, and gemstones to aluminum, steel, and any number synthetic solids

This store has some of the most gorgeous, unique jewelry I have ever seen. The owner is lovely and knowledgeable. I love this gallery. If you need a one of a kind piece of art to wear this is the place to go. Make sure to make an appointment.

I first met Loupe Art Jewelry Gallery at the Hunter's Point Open Studios. Her work is incredible. Her jewelry is inspired by nature (sprout, pod, leaf, eucalyptus...) without being "crafty" and has an organic quality that really appeals to me.

After passing by and peeking through the window for the past few weeks, I had the opportunity to drop in Gallery Loupe on Church Street this week. It was a spontaneous visit, so I had not researched it ahead of time. However, checking it out has been on my to-do list for a while. The works are presented in an intimate setting. The gallery is a small space, but there is a good number of pieces to see. Currently on exhibition is the work of Rian de Jong, a Dutch sculptor and jeweler. There are larger pieces mounted on the walls and smaller jewelry pieces on open display. When you visit, don't forget to also check out the jewelry pieces found in the modular cabinets (located to the right of the gallery when you enter). There are six cabinets, each with five pull-out drawers containing the works of artists represented by Gallery Loupe. Jewelry artist names are noted on the handles of the drawers containing their pieces. The gallery does not provide take-away fliers about the artist(s), but has copies of the pricing sheet available to review while in the gallery. (That's just something that I like to see; I'm interested in the valuation of art and art appraisal). Gallery Loupe for Contemporary Art Jewelry offers interesting and intricate pieces to view. I would recommend stopping by and checking it out when in downtown Montclair.
