I had a great experience working with Russell at Designer Appliances. I had to decide which appliances to go with for my new kitchen and Russell was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me, and helped me figure out the best options within my budget. He answered all my questions and made the decision and purchanging process go very smoothly. Thank you Russell!

just now NEW The absolute worst customer service experience... should have known it the 1st day I entered their store . Had an apt and waited for over 30 min for someone to help me .. meanwhile , during my wait an upset costumer came in .. I stepped out in the parking lot for a moment when she was leaving and she told me of her horrible experience . When I went back into the store , sales rep brushed it off as her being a difficult costumer ,.. fast forward ... I completely understand her frustration with this place .. photo is of an apartment refrigerator to suffice for my family until mine comes in ,. So called High end appliance place and the best they can do is this tiny little fridge .. my sales rep , and she is nothing more than a rep .. jill is very rude and lacks communication skills .. I've called and asked for manager several times ..with no answer or return call. And they charged my credit card without my authorization for a fridge they told me is a "gift" which I did not ask for or did not want !!! I am moving in a week and have no place to store my food ! Jills response is she is terribly sorry it does not suit my requirements .. seriously , I bought 40k in appliances and they can't pony up a full size fridge to loan me ? Also was never mentioned they would not install the appliances .. they just dropped them in my kitchen and left .. when I reached out to Jill Cava , no response but an email staying they would send someone. Okay cool ,, then! A new invoice comes with charges for installation !!!! This place is disgusting !!! I would have used them for all my appliances needs in the future .. the lost me as a future customer and in real estate they will never get a Referal from me ever again ..

Quick on the sale, and terrible on the follow up support the second they close the sale.I purchased 4 high-end kitchen appliances, and had issues with 2 appliances from day 1. Their install team recommended outright replacement, but I would have been happy with a simple call back on next steps for repair first.After dealing with two separate sales people, and patiently waiting multiple times, with multiple follow-up emails/phone calls (over the course of months), I’ve decided to leave a review. I would recommend going through another luxury appliance retailer - I will not be buying from them again.

My husband and I had such a positive experience with Cinthya from Designer Appliances. We met her at the Montclair showroom. We had many questions since we going from an electric range to an Induction Range. Cinthya was kind and very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We never felt rushed or pressured. She guided us through the entire purchase and install process. I am delighted with the GE Cafe Induction range we chose. I will be purchasing future appliances through Cinthya and Designer Appliances. I highly recommend this company.

Just popped in to buy a thermador new set and the sales person didn't even say hi or acknowledge my husband and I so will be purchasing elsewhere.

We heard of Designer Appliances through a friend and expected it would be the first of several stores we would be checking out. It ended up being the first and the last! The showroom is large and has a huge selection of appliances across all the major brands, and their service has been impeccable.We had the pleasure of working with Russell during the process of our kitchen remodel. Russell was knowledgeable, patient, kind and extremely helpful throughout the process. He helped us choose the right appliances for our space, budget and style. In addition, Designer Appliances' policies are very flexible and made the experience completely stress free.Should we ever need appliances in the future we will definitely forgo the big box stores and choose the personal approach we got working with Designer Appliances.

This review is for Miele washer and dryer. I wanted to place my order online but had a few questions regarding the size so I called the number that I found on designer appliances. The sales person told me he will waive the shipping fee for me of $99, but funny enough now I see that it is listed on google advertising that in home delivery is free. Why say that you will place the order for me for free by waiving a fee when I can do it myself online? The washer and dryer arrived damaged as shown in the photos attached. The delivery staff did not remove the plastic to do a full quality check and during the process put water on our new just re-done hardwood floors. From 10 AM until 4 PM (I was told to send the attached photos to customer service, which when I did not receive a response and called again I was told they only monitor it one time a day?! How is that possible? Then I was told to send the same emails to someone else. This is not my full time job, I have another job so being respectful of your customers time would be appreciated!!) I have been following up to finally get a resolution to get the washer and dryer replaced. I was told at one point that their policy for a damaged appliance is to replace the part!!! It just arrived it should be in perfect condition. Additionally, no one told us how the Miele washer and dryer works and when I asked if I could get further information about it I was told oh the sales staff before you bought it should have told you. What if I already bought it? No one can help me anymore? They told me they will send me a YouTube video!! Yet, on here there are reviews that people were walked through how these appliances work. Why am I being treated differently than the other customers? I will not be recommending designer appliances to anyone in my building even though I know many of the residents are looking for washer and dryer specifically. The poor customer service is really not worth it. They don’t even compensate you for the inconvenience that is caused by them. The whole situation is really appalling to me. I am truly still in shock after today’s experience.

I purchased a Fisher Paykel fridge and Bosch dishwasher from Designer Appliances over the past 2 years and I'm very happy with the quality of both products. Customer service and delivery went smoothly. What I really liked is that you can speak with a local delivery representative if you have delivery questions or need to make changes to delivery times. They were also able to install an outlet for our new dishwasher. I'm purchasing a washer dryer soon from DA soon.

Russel was awesome! Went in late on a Sunday with a couple of questions about stackable washer dryers. Was able to help me out quickly and find a great combo. Delivery is awesome as they hold the appliances when we are ready for the install. Way better than other stores. Would recommend a visit.

Had a great experience working with Russell in purchasing a new washing machine. I had done a little research myself and Russ provided some helpful insights and recommendations. He really took time to talk to us, answer all our questions, and even gave some advice and contacts for a future kitchen remodel. Overall, he was a real pleasure to work with and the price I got on the machine was very competitive!

We were looking to replace our dishwasher and looking for a place to do it locally. Designer Appliances in town had very high recommendations.We weren’t disappointed. They truly lived up to their reputation, especially thanks to Ned Salem who helped us and guided us with options based on availability, and helped us make the decision on the make of model.Ned’s service didn’t end there. Ned came back to us with a better model and faster delivery than the model we had originally chosen.He kept us informed of the delivery challenges due to inventory, timing, etc… and coordinated the installation. The installation went very well thanks to Danny.I highly recommend Designer Appliances and particularly Ned.

Wonderful experience working with Designer Appliances from start to finish. The showroom is quite large and features all of the top brands. We worked with Joe and Russell, both were very professional and provided excellent customer service. Very happy customers! Will recommend to all of our friends and family.

I would highly recommend Designer Appliances. I was greeted nicely by Ned Salem when I entered the store and he assisted me in choosing my new range/stove. It was delivered and installed within the week. The process was a very easy one. No stress. If I need another new appliance in the future, I will definitely purchase from Designer Appliances again.

When our new refrigerator did not work properly, Ned Salem at Designer Appliances was most helpful in quickly arranging a replacement! He assured us that all would be taken care of, and it was. This kind of professional, personal service is what we were hoping for when we chose DA and we were not disappointed. Delivery service was also very professional, with great communication and a knowledgeable, efficient delivery team.
