Update:
I feel like I was too harsh the last time I reviewed this place. It’s grown on me, and I’ve often found deals here that aren’t at the supermarket closer to my house. The selection is wonderful, and there are plenty of things here you can’t find at other nearby supermarkets. Although my opinion is limited by my infrequency in visiting, I’ve never had trouble finding something on my list.

I only stopped in to exchange my 5 gallon water jug. The store looked nice from what I saw.I did find it a bit rude that the cashier told me I had to put the empty bottle back myself.

I am so thankful this is not my local store but I was shocked with the state of things compared to other acme’s. The shelves were a mess in several aisles with random discarded items even some that should have been refrigerated. I asked for help with finding an item and neither of the employees knew how to find it nor were willing to call an employee who would. I saw an employee step on the bottom row of the fridge to stock items which just looks plain unsanitary. I would definitely not return.

Finally hit my breaking point. Have been shopping here exclusively since I moved to town three years ago. The employees could not care any less about their jobs. I do not believe any management actually exists here. Their produce (if even present) is usually sad and I have almost never seen anyone working the seafood counter. After two attempts and nearly twenty minutes of waiting, having spoken to three different employees plus a call on the overhead, I still had not been served and finally needed to leave. I attempted to voice my concerns to three different employees, not one of which even acknowledge me, including the “Manager” Doug. It was nice and convenient to be able to come here but I’ll pay more and drive further for a serviceable super market. Last time shopper at AcmeI also will not be further going out of my way to file a complaint prompted by an auto-reply.

They cancel my oder and they never give me my money back. When I call them, Someone tells me the manager will call me back they never do that. Thank you for let’s me know this company don’t gives money back.

We like Acme because they have everything we need at a good price, and it is the most convenient supermarket to us that meets those criteria. I will sometimes drive out of the neighborhood to shop but when I need to make my shopping trip short I go to Acme. Very well laid out store with ultra friendly staff and fresh produce. Also best-priced bagged ice in the area. Never too crowded.
