I always ordered my cold cuts at the deli’s kiosk. They removed that a few months ago. Now I see they’ve also removed the machine that dispenses numbers so that customers could be waited on when their number is called. I had a rude woman tell me there was a line when I waited to be served. I’m not at all happy with this latest set up.

Gruff greeting at door by employee about the store closing. Arrived 8:00 and told him I ck’d store hours before coming, and it’s open til 9:00. I’m now in my car at 8:25 after purchasing what I needed. Experience reminds me of why it’s worth going to McCaffrey’s. Polite, knowledgeable employees, well stocked, and their clerks bag your groceries! Absolutely worth the drive!!

I was in the store tonight 5/31 at cold cut counter
There is a strong smell like mens cologne by the end of counter near end. Smelled it before
Can someone look into this. Coming from bread is in front counter almost near end of counter.
Not pleasant near food.
I wish stop shop we could clean up cold cut area
Make it more pleasant.

I usually only go to Stop & Shop because it's the closest to where I live, but, I do not do all my shopping there. Everything is too expensive and I believe the reason for the price gauging is because there are at least 6 senior, 55+ communities and many times, seniors do not travel on Rt. 130 to go to Shop Rite. I only run there to pick up a few necessary items. It's such a shame that their prices are too high, because they are a very lovely store.

Went to this store this morning 04/14/24 at 7 AM as I normally do on Sunday AM. 7AM is their opening time. I approached the registers at 7:30 after shopping so I could check out, and no registers were open. No lights on and every one had the "Closed" sign on the belt. The only choice were the self-checkout registers which I dread, but I wanted to get out of there.
Each time I scanned an item, the system prevented me from scanning anything else with the message "place your item in the bagging area". I was following directions closely and I am comfortable with computers and computer systems that work.
The attendant came the first time to fix it, then she moved to the little desk in the bagging area and stared at me the 2nd time, so I left. I normally use the normal cashier lanes, but there was no one there today. The employees and the store are too lackadaisical about customer service.
