Clean for the most part and staff is usually nice. This has been our "home" location for a year now. However, anytime we come in to grab proteins that are on sale... they're always out. Super annoying. Doesn't matter the time of the week- the meat shelves don't have what's on sale. We end up going to Berlin. Might as well make that my go-to store.

Today my son bought some Red Snapper fish. The guy in seafood told him that the fish were cleaned. They weren’t even scaled. He just gutted them. My son asked him to clean them. Is that a normal practice? I’ve gone to ShopRite in Vineland and they scale and gut them.

Only complaint: It'd be nice if the prices in-store matched the prices in the app.

So, less and less of what I'm looking for here. The only reason I still go is because it's close. They just got rid of a large amount of their shopping carts and brought in some old used beat-up green ones that look like they've been around since the 1950s!
Just added more self check out registers. Trying to get rid of all the cashiers. Shame.
Things have gotten better since my original post.. There's a new group of managers and while not friendly,, they aren't rude like the last crew.. Cart returns are back making the parking lot a little safer for your car although Williamstown has some lazy people who can't walk two spaces to put their carts in one!! Same goes with entitled knuckleheads who feel their parking space is the fire lane.. Store seems a little cleaner, less pallets and stairs in the aisles. So it's getting there. I forgot the one dept. that is fantastic is the bakery! Friendly, helpful staff. Cakes etc look and taste great!

I now go less and less (2 trips a month), to Shoprite and only for coupon items. It used to be every week and sometimes more. And here's why. They forced me to use self checkout, where I have to take everything out of my cart, scan, and put it back. I don't do it as quick as a cashier, but Shoprite has eliminated most of them. And there is always a line. There are more watchers in self check out then at the full registers. Next, the prices. They have been going up more and more with less product. I can get the same stuff at other stores, cheaper. And I come in early in the day, and prime coupon item shelves are empty. Must be going to the on line folks, because I see workers going around the store, filling baskets. I see you changing the whole store to be like a wegmans or whole foods. Both of them are very expensive. And with construction comes cost, passed onto the consumer. Very sad!

I travel from out of state to shop and this shop rite which used to be part of my shopping routine which now gets skipped. There is literally nothing worth coming in for anymore. The sales are not what they used to be. Very rarely something I actually like is on sale. The prices are insane compared to other places and the place has to many people around and in the way with barely any registers with a human to check you out.

We use shop from home from this shoprite and it seems like every time they forget something. The last two times they didn't give us any of the meat we ordered. Of course we don't know this until we get it home. The only good thing is they will send it to us with doordash but I just don't understand how incompetent you have to be to forget all of the meat on an order. If it happened only once I could understand but for it to happen twice in a row , there has to be a flaw in their system. I hope they get this figured out because it is really annoying.

This store & the 1 in Berlin are both owned by the Zallie family. I haven't 'done' the deli @ the Berlin store, but THIS one has my FAVORITE salads! They have certain heatable dinner sides, too. LOVE the bakery here: the cake decorator does the BEST job & does wonderful custom work according to my needs! Once they did a half sheet cake for me for a wedding shower, & she did it in the bride's colors & similar to a wedding cake w/exquisite details!
Come early for store-baked bagels: they go fast! I LOVE THIS STORE!!

Good deals, but espect to be followed around as if you're a shop lifter, deli people could be cleaner and so can the whole store,it's a little bit unorganized.

I don’t know what happened to your original pepperoni bread ( Stromboli) maker but you need to get em back because the last 3-4 I’ve bought were horrible. No fillings for the first 3” on each end. The price goes up $1 and quality goes down greatly.
Edit: I don’t know if you looked into this or it fixed itself on its own but I’ve purchased three more since my last post and each one was much better. I change to 5*. I wish I took photos. Next time lol. Thanks

I really liked shopping at ShopRite. I hadn't been, but I already know that I can find everything I'm looking for there.
