Monroe Care Pharmacy is a local, small business pharmacy located in the Gables plaza across from the senior center on AppleGarth Road. It offers excellent, friendly, and reliable service with very helpful, courteous, respectful, and happy staff who provide personal attention. The pharmacy is efficient, accommodating, and always thinking ahead for customers, with prompt prescription filling and no issues. It is the polar opposite of corporate pharmacies like the nearby CVS and Walgreens, which have long lines, long hold times, and disinterested staff. When calling, Monroe Care answers with no hold time. The pharmacy is very informative, explains medications, and answers all questions. It has all pharmacy needs, reasonable and much less prices, honors many prescription plans, and has plenty of parking. Lottery tickets and greeting cards are also available. Customers highly recommend it and feel good about supporting this local business.

Had to use an OTC medication called Citracal . No place had it. Monroe Care promised it the next day and, as promised, the next day I picked it up. The price was also much less than Amazon! The staff is courteous, respectful and very helpful. It will become our new pharmacy. Excellent service!
