The floor staff could be more knowledgeable about the store and home improvement in general but that might be asking too much.
If you place an order call to make sure is has been pulled and not just in stock.

Lovely people!The local Apple Cider is unbelievable, go get some, comes in 3 sizes up to a gallon and runs about as much as surrounding supermarkets.”

“Order ten yards of brown dirt . The company was easy to deal with and delivery was on the money . Ps they have brown dirt which is dirt screened from the area . The 2 nd option is organic dirt which is only good for a skim coat since the organic material break down to almost nothing over two year span .”

“Specialty nursery only open Saturdays or by appointment. If you are a topiary lover, then this is your place. Ken and Margaret are wonderful and knowledgeable and will guide you on how to take care of your new plants. They also rent out gorgeous displays for your weddings or garden parties. One of my favorite secret places, and I love the friendly kitties that work there as well.”

“I had tried 800-flowers on line and could not get what I needed and was very frustrated with their website. So, I looked on-line for a florist near Plainfield NJ. My dear cousin had passed and due to covid-19 our family down here in Virginia needed to send something really nice. I called Town & Country and we had trouble understanding each other. The lady, Magoli, asked that I call her cell directly. I did. She was fantastic and the peace lillie they delivered to the funeral home (in less than 24 hours), was huge and beautiful. We got a lot more for our money than we would with most other florists we've used. I highly recommend using this place!”

“5 stars for Donna B. in the garden department. She was probably the 5th employee that I spoke with and the only one who was willing to help me locate an item at this South Plainfield store. I was walking inside the store, back and forth from one end to the other, trying to find this item, being shown 20 in stock from the HD app but with no aisle and bin #. Donna B. was able to show me where the similar items would be, and bingo, I was able to find it. The item was all the way on the top shelf. I took a picture to zoom in so that I can confirm the item #. Then Donna B. went extra miles to get a ladder and pulled the item for me. You can forget about the first 4 employees, one of them telling me to order online but it says in stock at the store; he just didn't wanna be bothered. Home Depot should do their best to keep employees like Donna B. I am not related to Donna B. in any possible way; I go to Home Depot for DIY projects.”
“I used Metuchen Mower in the past with a riding lawnmower that I have and they did great services then so now I have a problem with my snow blower so I called after hours on a Saturday to leave a message being that they were closed, Mr Gary called me back within a half hour to take the time to listen and reassured me that they have pick up and delivery so that I can get my snow blower working. This company is A-1 in my book!”

“After an inventory issue with a nearby HD, I called and spoke to Jadeth (my apologies if I don’t have her name spelled properly). She went and physically checked to see if the grill that we were looking for was in stock. We arrived in about 30 minutes to pick up the grill and it was on a cart waiting for us.
