Wow ! Unbelievable. Im glad to see other reviews. I also was about to purchase an engagement ring for my beautiful girlfriend and they told me the exact same thing…. Certificate misplaced and blablabla and also couldn’t find the right microscope to show me the inscription.!!!! What in the world ! I already paid a down payment of 2000$, I hope they give it to me back. Wow !! Thanks to everyone sharing their diamond experience. I will definitely not go with them anymore. Thank you everyone and sorry to hear about your experience. Be careful of Maureen who seems to have the lead of the store now! Very manipulative fraud.

My son was scammed by Frank and Maureen when he purchased his engagement ring from them. He bought a 0.5ct diamond VVS1 and he did not know that he was being lied to. He told me he only got the GIA certificate the day he was picking up the diamond ring and they did not wanted to show him the « inscription number » on the diamond itself. Their excuse was (they are very old and can’t barely see those numbers. A few weeks passed and my son decided to go ro a gemologist and the agent confirmed that there was not any numbers inscribed on the diamond BUT the certificate says « INSCRIBED » !!! Can you believe it! Shame on them for using their old age to scam young loving couples ! We noticed other people had the same issue and we will also file a claim at the small claims court against Milanos jewelers. The gemologist classified the diamond as a VS2 which is 4 grades lower than what he was told. Shame on them for scamming everyone with their diamond. If you purchased a diamond ring from them i would strongly advise to go a different jeweler and look if you have an inscription as mentioned on your certificate. Lord have mercy….

I love the idea of shopping local. Milano Jewelers is a Milltown institution and a neighboring business to mine. I've visited a couple of times to have some watch maintenance performed. On both occasions I've found myself leaving not only with the watch I brought in, but another from their well curated collection. In both instances I have been amazed by their prices. No haggling, sales pitches or fancy maneuvers. The price is the price and it was well below anything found online. The lovely couple who own the shop were incredibly helpful, friendly and genuinely interested in their product. That's a good indication as to why they have been in business so long. It seems as if they are able to order just about any watch available. From here on in, I will be researching my purchases online, but purchasing it from Milano. They are simply top notch.

I recently purchased a sterling silver Saint Christopher's metal from Milano Jewelers in Milltown. I was extremely pleased with my purchase, the price was very reasonable and the service was exceptional. Frank and Maureen go above and beyond to make sure you are 100% pleased with everything. I wanted a larger medal, an endless curb chain , a custom length and engraved, Frank solders the links closed so you never have to worry about loosing the medal or the chain coming apart. You can't get that type of service, customization, craftsmanship and personal attention to every detail from your local mall jewelry stores. I also always take my watches there for battery replacements, and if Mr. Milano is available, most times he will do it while you wait at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Milano Jewelers!
