Went in for a Passport photo, due the post office not providing the service. Seriously took all of 10minutes. They charge $15 same as the post office. Customer service was fast and efficient.

It pains me to write a bad review for a B&M store that still works with film and film cameras, but the service was so bad I have no choice. I'm getting back into film and decided to test them out with a disposable camera we had on vacation. The problems start a few hours after I drop off the film with a call saying they can't develop this type 35mm film: "What do I want to do?" Well, I would have wanted to know that before I left the store! They say I can drive the 40 minutes back to pick it up or they can send it out for an additional $8. So, I paid them over the phone and had them send it out. Then I find out that they send film once a week, when I get a call a few days later on Friday that they didn't send my film because I didn't pay the extra $8. But I did pay it. I call them back on Saturday explain it and they begrudgingly agree to send it immediately -- Images back by End of Week. End of week comes - no images. I called - they didn't even have the decency to call me - and I learn there was a problem at their vendor. Definitely Monday, if not Saturday said the woman I spoke with. Ugh, Wait a few more days. Nope, No images Monday. I call Tuesday and get Carl who tells me there's nothing they can do. I just have to wait. Hopefully soon -- This is now 2 weeks after I dropped off the film. I finally get a call after asking them to keep me up-to-date that images are coming Wednesday. Carl acts like he's doing me a big favor getting me my images nearly 3 weeks late. Carl and really everyone else that I spoke with treated me terribly. I was either given bad information, was treated like I was interrupting their day or with annoyance that I was unreasonably expecting them to be true to their word. Sorry Carl that I unreasonably expected you to tell me the truth and stand by your work. Stand by your updates. Stand by your customers. One might have expected them to try to do something for me. Refund the additional charge or a discount on the whole process. Nope, nothing no even an apology. Oh, and the images are terrible - sure disposable cameras are not the best, but not this bad. I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT TRUST YOUR PRECIOUS MEMORIES WITH THIS STORE.

Developed and scanned my photos the same day I dropped off the film! Developing is a little more expensive than the place I usually go, but this place is a shorter drive for me, they develop MUCH faster than the other place (which can take over a week) and the default scans are of higher quality. Definitely bringing future rolls back here.

They do not do the digitizing onsite. At least not for the very old films. It is all sent out to a 3rd party company.

I have been here several times as a Maplewood resident, it's the closest to me. There was a young woman there on my first visit that was home from school and just darling. This is the only reason I returned. Since I've gotten horrible customer service since I'm writing this review and taking my money to B&H

Millburn Camera Shop is a great local camera retailer. They have competitive prices on cameras and lenses, and good prices on printing. They may even be cheaper, all-in, since you can just pick up your photos and skip the shipping costs. They also do all kinds of digitization services - photo scanning, video, even reel-to-reel! Shop local! These folks are great.

Found exactly what my daughter was looking for - a perfect birthday gift. Carl was amazingly patient, knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time even though the store was rather busy to explain the features of the camera and make sure I knew what I was getting. I will go out of my way to go back!

This is the only place I could find that did digital copies of passport photos. They also know the requirements for the specific purpose of photo. I was pleased with the service

I came here to develop a B&W film which I prepaid (24 us) and they said it would be ready in less then 2 weeks. When the two weeks passed I called to confirm the email because I didn't receive the pictures. The guy said they where ready and I patiently waited for them to arrive in my inbox (never happened). I had to continue calling approximately 6 times to ask about my pictures and every time a different excuse was told. I then received an email saying that the pictures where going to be in my email the next day. I call again and they kept postponing the delivery of my pictures. If I pay for a service in advance I expect the delivery time to be respected and if not, a refund. The guy didn't care at all and all responded was an excuse or an "I'm sorry". Terrible service and very expensive. Hope one day I get my pictures.
