It pains me to write a bad review for a B&M store that still works with film and film cameras, but the service was so bad I have no choice. First, they can’t develop the type 35mm film I had. It apparently wasn't the typical film and they needed to send it out for an additional $8. So, I paid them over the phone and had them send it out. Then I get one excuse after another about why it hasn't been developed yet. Ugh, this is nearly 3 weeks after I dropped off my film. They said it would be an extra few days, maybe a week. After many calls, I finally find out that images are coming. Carl, I spoke with the last few calls, acts like he’s doing me a big favor getting me my images nearly 3 weeks late. I was continually given bad information, was treated like I was interrupting their day or with annoyance that I was unreasonably expecting them to be true to their word. Sorry Carl that I unreasonably expected you to tell me the truth and stand by your work. Stand by your updates. Stand by your customers. One might have expected them to try to do something for me. Refund the additional charge for the non-typical film or a discount on the whole process. Nope, nothing no even an apology. DO NOT TRUST YOUR PRECIOUS MEMORIES WITH THIS STORE.

Went in for a Passport photo, due the post office not providing the service. Seriously took all of 10minutes. They charge $15 same as the post office. Customer service was fast and efficient.

It pains me to write a bad review for a B&M store that still works with film and film cameras, but the service was so bad I have no choice. I'm getting back into film and decided to test them out with a disposable camera we had on vacation. The problems start a few hours after I drop off the film with a call saying they can't develop this type 35mm film: "What do I want to do?" Well, I would have wanted to know that before I left the store! They say I can drive the 40 minutes back to pick it up or they can send it out for an additional $8. So, I paid them over the phone and had them send it out. Then I find out that they send film once a week, when I get a call a few days later on Friday that they didn't send my film because I didn't pay the extra $8. But I did pay it. I call them back on Saturday explain it and they begrudgingly agree to send it immediately -- Images back by End of Week. End of week comes - no images. I called - they didn't even have the decency to call me - and I learn there was a problem at their vendor. Definitely Monday, if not Saturday said the woman I spoke with. Ugh, Wait a few more days. Nope, No images Monday. I call Tuesday and get Carl who tells me there's nothing they can do. I just have to wait. Hopefully soon -- This is now 2 weeks after I dropped off the film. I finally get a call after asking them to keep me up-to-date that images are coming Wednesday. Carl acts like he's doing me a big favor getting me my images nearly 3 weeks late. Carl and really everyone else that I spoke with treated me terribly. I was either given bad information, was treated like I was interrupting their day or with annoyance that I was unreasonably expecting them to be true to their word. Sorry Carl that I unreasonably expected you to tell me the truth and stand by your work. Stand by your updates. Stand by your customers. One might have expected them to try to do something for me. Refund the additional charge or a discount on the whole process. Nope, nothing no even an apology. Oh, and the images are terrible - sure disposable cameras are not the best, but not this bad. Carl was nothing less than great! Helped me select the right camera and lenses for my vacation and family photographs and gave me generous trade-in for my old camera gear. While we talked camera gear, we discovered we have a lot in common, and that is always a big plus. The store is well stocked and I'm very happy to have a real camera shop to shop in again. I humbly recommend that you support this reputable, local business instead of the big box or on-line retailers where you will not receive the individualized attention that I was very fortunate to get. Thanks Carl, you can count on me to spend my camera dollars with you.

Developed and scanned my photos the same day I dropped off the film! Developing is a little more expensive than the place I usually go, but this place is a shorter drive for me, they develop MUCH faster than the other place (which can take over a week) and the default scans are of higher quality. Definitely bringing future rolls back here.

They do not do the digitizing onsite. At least not for the very old films. It is all sent out to a 3rd party company.
