In today’s world, it’s important to realize that children are different, just as an adult’s are. That means that they learn at different speeds and are good at different things. Here at Alpine Montessori, we focus on making life engaging for children and their school experience fun. This starts in kindergarten, when the mind is impressionable and eager to learn. Our method was developed in the early 1900’s by Dr. Maria Montessori. We believe that force feeding a child education is the wrong approach, and instead we focus on using a non-competitive pace to teach children to enjoy learning so that they are able to move at their own pace. Our curriculum focuses on practical life, math, sensorial, language, geography, science and art.
